The funniest thing about this comparison is that Mario kart is an abysmal product because they knew they could spew out anything with the title and it would make money. The $80 pricetag is just further proof of that. There is no standards when a company knows they aren't at risk
I've no problem with folk taking issue with $80 games, but if you stayed silent on Mario Kart World, zip it on Grand Theft Auto VI.
GTA6 makes Mario Kart World and Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave look like ultra low cost indie games in comparison (dev cost and production wise) lol.
@speeziespeezie@squarednation_ It's not just the one game. Every single game will be more expensive now because of the $100 price tag for GTA. When everything is more expensive including the devices you play the games on, the hobby no longer becomes accessible for most people
