Thank you to all those who reached out asking about my safety. I am home. But I cannot get the stories of the indignities Palestinian face out or my head. I am still processing it and wanted to share some of what I saw.
If a nurse gives a Senator $50 to vote for Medicare for All, it's illegal.
But Larry Ellison, worth $202 billion, spent $45 million to get Trump elected. So Trump is helping his family control:
CBS
CNN
TikTok
HBO
TNT
MTV
BET
And more
That’s a corrupt campaign finance system.
Zohran using his public office to actually do things he promised must be genuinely bewildering & terrifying to Democratic politicians, consultants, pundits & donors who’ve spent 40 years making excuses for their party almost never fulfilling promises when Dems have been in power.
Massie: "I think it's ironic that we control the House, Senate, Supreme Court, and the White House, and we're yelling 'election fraud'? I mean, we won all the damn elections."
The irony of Republicans controlling all branches of government while
bankrupting the country, starting a war, sending money to fraudulent programs, violating the Constitution, giving corporations immunity...
but arguing that the biggest problem we have is “stolen elections.”
Never before have we had so much income inequality.
Last year, the bottom 50% saw their income go down by $27, on average, while the top 0.01% gained $2.9 million.
And the top 0.001%? They saw their income go up by $20 million. In a single year.
Yes. We must tax the rich.
Multibillionaire Ken Griffin just gave $2,500,000 to Susan Collins’s super PAC (after she voted four times to cut his taxes).
I look forward to raising Ken Griffin’s taxes, and banning him, and all billionaires, from buying elections.
Three months ago today, a war began that no one voted for — and the cost has been paid by people who had no say in it.
Thousands of civilians have lost their lives. Thirteen U.S. servicemembers will never come home to their families.
Americans across this country and our city have watched prices rise at the pump and the grocery store, their budgets strained by a conflict launched without a single vote of Congress.
Every life lost abroad and every dollar squeezed from a working family here is part of the same reckless bill, handed to the people who could least afford it by those who will never pay it themselves.
I opposed this war from the first day. I oppose it still. It must end.
THEIR PRIORITIES AND OURS.
President Trump wants $500 billion more for the military for new weapons of destruction and endless wars.
Mayor Mamdani wants $22 billion to address the housing crisis in NYC and build 400,000 units of low income and affordable housing.
I have been saying for years that Democrats should run against Republicans on the issue of corruption. Make fighting corruption the centerpiece of their hopefully populist campaigns.
Well, if they don’t run on corruption this year, against Trump, then they deserve to lose.
Trump is now reportedly responsible for roughly 27.7% of the entire U.S. national debt accumulated under all presidents combined.
That is an astonishing figure historically.
The national debt just crossed $39 trillion.
President Trump has added roughly $12–13 trillion to the debt across his two terms in office.
That’s approximately 30% of ALL U.S. national debt accumulated since 1789.
In 2016, Trump said he would pay down the national debt “over a period of eight years.”
Instead:
- First term: +$7.8 trillion
- Second term: roughly +$4–5 trillion already
And yes, COVID affected first-term spending.
It does not explain adding another trillion dollars every five months without a pandemic.
A political movement built on:
“fiscal conservatism”
“small government”
“balanced budgets”
has now overseen the largest debt expansion tied to any single presidency in American history.
Trump sued his own IRS.
Settled with his own government.
Secured a $1.8 billion slush fund to siphon toward his allies.
Blocked the IRS audits against himself and his family.
This is corruption in plain sight.
AIPAC spent $9 million to take out Rep. Thomas Massie.
Trump megadonors spent another $7 million.
It was the most ever spent on a House primary race—all because he defied Trump on Gaza and Epstein.
NO, billionaire super PACs should not buy our elections. One person, one vote.
