Maybe once pi loses all of its loyal pioneers then and only then will pi quarantine actually start listening to their community but by that time it'll be too late. That's just my opinion. I used to love the idea of pi and I been mining it for the past 60 years and I've been very loyal but I'm even about to quit because they just keep changing things. For instance in the very beginning of the project the white paper even stated that you can have a security circle and while they're active your mining rate increases but it never said anything about losing that mind pi if your security circle doesn't do kyc and that right there is a big problem because that just means that all those extra tokens are going to just go right to the pi core team, also they say that they are releasing a token slowly to the pioneers because they don't want people to sell right away and the price goes down drastically but yet the pie team still hasn't realized that because of those two things that I just mentioned a lot of the people who used to believe in the project are gone and are not going to come back.
