When you wait for the "right mood" before starting something hard, you teach your mind that action requires motivation. The longer you sit around waiting to feel ready, the harder taking the first step becomes.
I’m learning that not every quiet phase means I’m falling behind. Sometimes life is simply asking me to slow down, notice more, and move with intention.
Some seasons are about achieving.
Others are about refusing to give up.
Right now, I’m building skills, handling uncertainty, and showing up even when progress feels slow.
Not every chapter looks impressive while you’re living it.
Keep building anyway.
@thedankoe Same principle applies out loud. If you can't explain it simply to someone outside the field, you don't actually understand it yet, you've just memorized it.

If you’re also early in your career:
Don’t underestimate the skills that don’t show up on a resume.
How you communicate.
How you think.
How you handle uncertainty.
Those matter too.
I’m realizing that getting better at your career is not just about learning more.
It’s also about learning how to communicate what you already know.
That sounds simple.
It isn’t.
A few things I’m learning while figuring this out 🧵

I’m still figuring all of this out.
But I’d rather document the process than wait until I feel like I have everything figured out.
That’s the kind of professional I’m trying to become.
