@luismen1991 @elonmusk The US Navy to build it- along with all the essential orbital infrastructure. Carrier fleets needs to be replaced with maritime launch fleets.
Launch the great gig in the sky until robotics Mass produce spacesteads.
Mars habitation is centuries away even with the best ideals.
@luismen1991 @elonmusk There's no practical limit to the size of the Torus Habitats- only barrier to construction is developing industrial manufacturing to build stations from heavy/durable/protective materials from space materials.
I'll be damned if we're rocketshipping the parts to build of all this-
@luismen1991 @elonmusk We don't have to live in a Cube; the ergonomics of Torus Spacesteads are entirely relative to the capacity which they're built to accommodate. I'll nominate the AI- HAL controlled Torus Habitat for individual habitation with automated agriculture/industry for supporting 1 person.
@luismen1991 @elonmusk Because- planets have gravity which makes industry impractical.
Torus Spacesteads have variable gravity which can be augment for industry and habitation.
Personally- I want my space mansion with a thermostat and a gravity-stat; ability to adjust gravity experience is a novelty.
@luismen1991 @elonmusk I believe the ultimate goal of humanity should be abundant free energy- the Dyson Sphere should become a public utility service.
Once orbital solar is built- more practical Sun Orbiting Dyson Constellations should simply transmit energy for point to point consumer supply.
@luismen1991 @elonmusk Planetary Solar is always inefficient because of rotation and atmosphere degradation. Mars has no practical Geothermal or Hydrocarbon resources- Wind Energy MAY be possible-yet I'm confident most everything on the surface of Mars will just get covered in sand & dust within weeks.
@the_warhead@disclosetv Russia is a state owned oligarchy.
The status quo is stable.
United Russia has unshakeable stability from political ownership of state owned industry and enterprise.
Russia is fine. The media always says it's sunny!
@tlecaque My birthplace is famous for addictions-One of few Emerald places on Earth where Coffee, Heroin, Cocaine, Cannibis, and Meth are ubiquitous.
Our region is responsible for the invention of nuclear weapons.
We're responsible for the 4th industrial revolution of digitalised society
@IntrudEd @CovertShores @osint_addict@navalnewscom Hydrosconic was NOT a word until 2020. It fundamentally has ZERO meaning.
Explain what Water has to do with measure of speed? There's zero metric because breaking the speed of sound in water is variable to depth, salinity and temperature.
Even impossible with supercavitation.
@JeremiahP_MD The popular narrative of all the Russians I seem to encounter is more alike-
-West is Stupid and doesn't know how to Capitalism.
-East is Stupid and doesn't know how to Socialism.
-Russia is stupid and doesn't know how to Empire or aspire to faith in federalist state capitalism.
@ChrisEd43356677 @luismen1991 What bright idea was it to allow women in the marines- much less humans as marines?
USMC is the most abused and underserviced branch of the military.
They don't need recruits, they need superhumans; usually released convicts, bodybuilders, psychos & outdoorsmen-No cityslickers.
@jdkull @dhnexon How so? Less interventionist policy is a better thing- the USA is known to play dirty alike it's peers.
There's no reasonable middle ground- either be interventionist everywhere or nowhere. Either conquer the world or don't.
What issue has US isolationism caused?
@dhnexon Living in denial is the greatest trick the devil ever played.
What if- WOKE MOMENT; There's nothing the USA needs to do fof forigen policy?
What if... WE DO NOTHING?
Isolationism is it's own international order.
Having a doomsday nuclear stockpile also helps.
@luismen1991 @rogeressig Better comparison list-
Starship is disappointing, costly, overengineering.
It also has a nightmarish supplychain.

Let Huntington Ingalls build Sea Dragons for the Navy and we can stop being cheated $ for NASA/SpaceX supplychains.
