@luismen1991 @elonmusk There's no practical limit to the size of the Torus Habitats- only barrier to construction is developing industrial manufacturing to build stations from heavy/durable/protective materials from space materials.

I'll nominate the AI- HAL controlled Torus Habitat for individual habitation with automated agriculture/industry for supporting 1 person.

Torus Spacesteads have variable gravity which can be augment for industry and habitation.

Personally- I want my space mansion with a thermostat and a gravity-stat; ability to adjust gravity experience is a novelty.

Once orbital solar is built- more practical Sun Orbiting Dyson Constellations should simply transmit energy for point to point consumer supply.

Mars has no practical Geothermal or Hydrocarbon resources- Wind Energy MAY be possible-yet I'm confident most everything on the surface of Mars will just get covered in sand & dust within weeks.
