I am slowly but surely building a few passive income streams with the help of my spouse for our family.
Sharing some thoughts and experiences.
Try to create fully passive streams that can partially or completely take care of household expenses before you hit your 50s. Sooner the better.
It helps if both husband and wife have common grounds on investment and financial matters even if only one of them is working.
It is a bonus if wife is proactive in this regards.
Neither me nor my wife were brought up with any financial acumen or even any meaningful financial support. Over the years I developed some interest in investing and personal finances. I kept on discussing the same with my wife and now with both sons as well.
We both are working professionals.
Wife takes care of budgeting (we have never been miser or even frugal by any measure but followed just one rule: Income - savings = expenses.)
Completely Passive income streams:
1. Rental real estate: We don’t have any
2. Investment in private businesses: We have exposure to 2 such opportunities. Both in manufacturing sector (One is in PU/artificial leather industry and other in renewable energy sector).
Currently one is producing almost 50k per month (pre-tax) after becoming net debt free. The second one is in debt (bank loan) and currently struggling.
We are also scouting for new opportunities in this area but with small ticket sizes.
3. Dividend: We are old school investors and look at dividends irrespective of tax obligations. Currently the dividends from family PF covers some monthly expenses (roughly 20-25k per month pre-tax owing to some 7-8 years old investments).
4. Royalties: No such income stream so far but it is never late to explore the option and create some digital assets that can create some income.
To summarise as a family so far we are able to generate 70-75k per month pre-tax income from our passive streams and target is to double it in next 6-7 years.
Disclosure: I am not a financial advisor neither an expert in the field. Whatever I have discussed is my personal experience and it should not be taken as any financial advice.
avg handu man studying and grinding in vishwaguru for 27 years so he can get an 18 LPA job and rehabilitate a fucked leftover Honda hoe by a mulla in her prime, who turned into a feminist and man-hater after a double-digit body count.
Minority communities like Sikh, Jains, Mslms, Parsis always do this. They glorify little acts of compassion to score brownies for their PR.
In 19th century Parsis mastered it - Tatas are the example.
Don’t know why one of the most beautiful traditions of Hinduism, Bhandaras, is rarely highlighted. Across the country, on normal days and especially during yatras, countless people are served free meals .Just look at the Bhandaras being organised for Amarnath Yatris by various organisations. Thousands of devotees are fed every day purely as an act of Seva.
Pakistani actors: India cannot stop our water from Indus river. India is a pathetic country. We will never work with Indians.
Indian Urduwood actors:
Pak and India are both brothers. Issues are created by politicians, They love us, our movies, and art has no borders.
This is not love or Sympathy but fear of losing Pakis followers & Ticket buyers of their shit movies by Muzlims
One question I have yet to see the Khalistanis answer:
If the Air India bombing was an inside job like you claim, why the memorial to Talwinder Parmar? If he wasn’t the mastermind, what did he do in his life worth memorializing?
"Many claim Sikhs can't eat beef. They're wrong.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s Singhs hunted and ate meat — including beef. Guru Sahib never banned it. The 'cow sacred' rule is pure Brahminical thinking, not Sikhism.
Sikhs should eat cow beef. There is ZERO prohibition."

A scene from the movie Citizen Vigilante that was released 12 days ago, and it's banned from screening in all of Europe 🤨
Inspired by a real Hamburg 2016 case, Hammer plays an expat who turns vigilante against migrant muslim rapists.
A must watch 👇
Pakistanis never mention that the Indus Waters Treaty of 1960 was established to restore peace in the region.
Subsequently, Pakistan waged war against India in 1965 by launching 'Operation Gibraltar'; later, in 1971, it initiated hostilities by launching the first aerial strikes; and finally, during the Kargil conflict, the Pakistani army intruded 20 kilometers into Indian territory to wage war.
Under these circumstances, the Indus Waters Treaty effectively becomes void.
This is because the treaty is deemed to have lapsed once the condition of maintaining peace was violated.
And these Pakistanis threaten nuclear war as if India doesn't possess nuclear weapons.
You fool, your nuclear weapon might destroy one or two states of India.
But then, a nuclear attack by India would wipe out the entire country of Pakistan in one go.
So, when threatening nuclear war, one must realize that it means sending all Pakistanis to hell together.
Ottoman Empire has done nothing but kill people. Erdogan may have forgotten Turkey's history. But the world hasn't.

Non-sense.
She has courage (no shame for family) to go around and get fcuked by men but no copy to call off the wedding because family name gets shamed.
Nobody is defending Siya. The law must come down on her with full force. But spare me the "she should've just called off the wedding" lectures. This is India, where cancelling a wedding is treated like a bigger crime than surviving a bad marriage. I was assaulted two weeks before my own wedding and still couldn't call it off because lakhs had been spent and my parents would've carried the shame. Maybe if we Indians spent less on the tamasha and more on the marriage, fewer people would feel trapped by a wedding they've stopped wanting.
The massacre in Baisaran happened only 1 year 2 months and 08 days ago .
Where is this pressure to normalise with Pakistan coming from ?
How can we as a people and a nation be so myopic?
Reposting my recent piece that recounts Pakistan’s perfidy going all the way back to 1971 .

Indians, especially young liberal ones with not much cultural inculcation from their own family, are being programmed by India's adversaries using social media.
- Been saying this for many years. Hope the concerned authorities wake up before it is too late. Take it seriously.
