@AnalogKidMusic @GwenLovesMovies I’ve done both. I’ve made plenty of original ideas as well. But the fan films felt no less genuine or authentic than any of my original films. I treated them all with the same level of care and attention.

@AnalogKidMusic @GwenLovesMovies No, but even if I would have I don’t see how that’s a problem. I actually tried to crowdfund but was unsuccessful so I made do with what I had. But if I did raise that much, I absolutely would’ve still made the films I made, and maybe they would’ve been better. Maybe not

@AnalogKidMusic @GwenLovesMovies Why? I don’t get that. When I first started out, one of my first projects was a DC comics fan film mini series (total runtime a little over 3hrs). It was some of the most fun I’ve had and I learned WAY more on that project than I ever did in class.
