While Viktor Orbán has recently been scaring Hungarians about rising fuel prices, in Vienna you can fill up for the same price as in Budapest. In the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Poland, it is significantly cheaper than in Hungary.
Today, the world market price of crude oil is lower than it was in 2010, when Viktor Orbán took over the government. Despite this, at the petrol stations, the price of 95-octane petrol is almost double what it was in 2010.
Why? Because @PM_ViktorOrban has significantly increased all taxes on fuel, including excise duty and VAT, and the forint exchange rate has also weakened a lot.
Viktor Orbán does not govern effectively and shows no interest in the continuously deteriorating situation of the Hungarian citizens or businesses. Instead, he chooses to lie, incite hatred, and burden the country with some of the highest taxes in Europe.
