Fascinated by ATP-driven chromatin remodelers? Faible for genome-wide biochemistry? Fan of reconstitutions? Check out our open PhD position in our project "Genome-wide reconstitution of chromatin dynamics" at the LMU Munich: https://t.co/5P1zAK6NXV

So grateful for this wonderful collaboration of hard work (@ILangstein) testing ingenious hypotheses (@alexholehouse)! Surprise: linear sequence motif(s) for specific binding may be replaced by chemical context regardless of linear sequence. Quite some leeway for IDR evolution!

I'm excited to share our new paper - an incredible multi-year collaboration with the incomparable Philipp Korber (@KorberLab) driven by one of the most impressive graduate students I've had the pleasure of working with, Iris Langstein-Skora (@ILangstein) https://t.co/pfUfSgrk6Q

We are extremely happy to announce the recruitment of @NKrietenstein as new CPR group leader starting in October. Nils will join the Protein Memory Program (headed by @groth_anja) to lead a new group focusing on the dynamics and structure of the 3D genome https://t.co/MUWd5AHAV1

@NNFCPR @NKrietenstein @groth_anja This is fantastic news! Congratulations to both Nils and Anja! Looking forward to great work ahead.

2 papers on how chromatin remodelers, esp. INO80, process information from DNA shape/mechanics, DNA ends, barriers and other nucl. into nucl. positioning. Thanks to all involved! @Hopfnerlab @CramerLab @PetersonLab @RemoRohs @embl https://t.co/AP4VzY1mR3

If you still think that poly(dA:dT) depletes nucleosomes by an intrinsic mechanism in vivo, please check out our new ms, where we compile published and new evidence against this view and for an active read out mechanism by remodelers like RSC: https://t.co/TOVKTxqzzJ

Since today @KorberLab is active on Twitter.
Looking forward!
Let's start with the two pillars of our work: why we are a lot into chromatin reconstitution and the awesome power of yeast (not just S. cerevisiae) in vivo tools...
