🚨HYDERABAD SWEET SHOP CRACKDOWN! PULLA REDDY SWEETS LICENCE SUSPENDED, KARACHI BAKERY ISSUED SHOW CAUSE NOTICE & 14 OTHER OUTLETS UNDER TG SAFE SCANNER

⚠️ 3,546.5 kg of food worth ₹16.8 lakh seized/discarded | 5 establishments closed | 5 FSSAI licences suspended

🛑 Telangana’s Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (@c_tgsafe ) has conducted a major food safety crackdown across the CURE region, inspecting 16 sweet manufacturing and retail units with 13 enforcement teams comprising food safety officials and police personnel.

🔎 SERIOUS FOOD SAFETY VIOLATIONS FOUND

🪳 Cockroach, housefly and rodent infestations
🚫 Expired and mislabelled food products
📰 Papers used to cover sweets and snacks
🧼 Dirty kitchens, greasy equipment and unhygienic washing areas
🐀 Rat droppings and pest contamination in storage areas
📋 Missing pest-control records, employee health records and water analysis reports
⚠️ Food handlers without proper protective clothing and hygiene practices

🏪 BIG NAMES AMONG THE 16 ESTABLISHMENTS INSPECTED

🔴 G Pulla Reddy Sweets, Sanath Nagar: FSSAI licence suspended over multiple alleged violations, including rotten vegetables, rat droppings, expired and mislabelled food articles, improper storage and unhygienic manufacturing and washing areas. Officials seized 3,133 kg of food articles worth ₹15.03 lakh.

🔴 Karachi Bakery International Pvt Ltd, Timmapur: Inspected during the enforcement drive. The establishment was among those issued a show-cause notice, according to TG SAFE.

🔴 Agra Mithai Ghar Restaurant, Charminar: FSSAI licence suspended over alleged hygiene violations, pest infestation, expired and mislabelled food articles, unclean utensils and improper storage practices.

🔴 Sweetone Ruchulu India Pvt Ltd, Vanasthalipuram: FSSAI licence suspended after officials reported mislabelled food articles, rat droppings in storage, broken tiles, water stagnation and unhygienic facilities.

🔴 Balaji Sri Kishan Mithai Bhandar, Falaknuma: FSSAI licence suspended over alleged licensing and hygiene lapses, missing records, dirty kitchen walls and inadequate washing facilities.

🔴 Hirani Foods Pvt Ltd (Minerva Sweets), Kattedan: FSSAI licence suspended after officials reported rat droppings in storage, greasy walls, wet floors, unclean stoves and rusty equipment.

🚫 FIVE ESTABLISHMENTS CLOSED

TG SAFE ordered the closure of the following establishments for operating without valid FSSAI licences under unhygienic conditions:

❌ Balaji Sweets, Champapet: Alleged cockroach infestation, unclean utensils, improper storage and newspapers used to cover sweets.

❌ Mamatha Sweet House, Secunderabad: Expired FSSAI licence, housefly infestation, dirty and greasy equipment, and expired or spoiled food items.

❌ SK Foods, Kattedan: Alleged unhygienic premises, housefly infestation, rusty equipment and sweets carrying a future manufacturing date of October 31, 2026.

❌ Hameedi Confectionaries, MJ Market: Alleged pest infestation in almonds, cockroaches, expired food articles and newspapers used to cover sweets.

❌ Annapurna Caterers, Chudi Bazaar: Officials reported houseflies, pest infestation in peanuts and mustard seeds, rotten tomatoes, rat droppings and expired food articles.

🍬 OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS INSPECTED

TG SAFE also inspected:

▪️ Abhiruchi Swagruha Foods, Sanath Nagar
▪️ Bharat Baklava, Sanath Nagar
▪️ Sri Shagun Mithai Vatika, Himayatnagar
▪️ Pothgaal Swagruha Foods, Saroornagar
▪️ Dadus, Domalguda

An improvement notice is to be issued to Sri Shagun Mithai Vatika over the lapses identified during inspection. Officials said the premises would be revisited to check compliance.

🔬 WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

✅ 22 food samples collected over suspected adulteration
✅ Show-cause notices issued to seven establishments
✅ Further action, including penalties, to follow
✅ Reinspections planned to verify compliance with food safety norms

⚖️ TG SAFE said enforcement action was being taken in the interest of public health.

భారత్ ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో నిర్మించనున్న నేషనల్ ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ అర్బన్‌ మేనేజ్‌మెంట్ (#NIUM) నూతన ప్రాంగణానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ @revanth_anumula గారు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. రూ. 200 కోట్ల అంచనా వ్యయంతో నిర్మించనున్న ఈ ప్రాంగణం కోసం ప్రభుత్వం ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో 20 ఎకరాల భూమి కేటాయించింది.

✅2009 లో జవహర్‌లాల్ నెహ్రూ జాతీయ పట్టణ పునరుద్ధరణ మిషన్ (#JNNURM) కింద ఎంపికైనప్పటికీ @NIUM_Hyd కు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం భూమి కేటాయించని కారణంగా ఇంతకాలం వాయిదా పడుతూ వచ్చింది. తాజాగా ప్రభుత్వం ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీలో 20 ఎకరాలు కేటాయించింది.

✅తెలంగాణలో పట్టణ విధానాల రూపకల్పనకు, కార్యాచరణ ఆధారిత పరిశోధన సంస్థగా ఎన్ఐయూఎం కీలకంగా పనిచేస్తుంది. 2028 జూన్ 2 నాటికి ప్రాంగణ నిర్మాణాన్ని పూర్తి చేసి తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఆవిర్భావ దినోత్సవం రోజున ప్రారంభించుకోవాలని ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ డెవలప్‌మెంట్ అథారిటీ (#FCDA) ప్రాంగణంలో జరిగిన ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

In this Sunday’s HCA league match Sec Club bowled first vs Greenlands CC and when they were 48 for 5 , heavy rains washed out the match. Bowled well, with both sides swing and seam, beat the bat but without any success - it requires more speed in the ball to get wickets maybe ! Well at 58 , this is the maximum I can generate -must be around 115-120 kms/hour !
