Talked with ⁦@VUCoachJWright⁩ in the fall of ‘16 about Duke always playing the D2 National Champion the following year. He couldn’t get over how great of an idea it was, & the way it benefited all levels of basketball. Coach Wright is a true basketball purist. Best wishes!

Something that I struggle with is kids with Low Major D1 offers who ignore high-level D2 programs like this just to say they are a D1 player. There are so many D2 schools that would kill D1 teams
