That’s splendid, truly and I do appreciate the concierge - esque touch to the constituent services she’s delivering to some of the cities most vulnerable at this time. However, Congress is NOT for organizing nor is it for investigating outside of inquiries or hearings.

Fundamentally and functionally, Congress is for legislating and policy implementation.

We don’t have 4 terms for this batch of progressives to find themselves to still not a damn thing codified but delivering keynote speeches at policy forums in Munich and are contemplating a run for the Oval.

Keep sending activists who can’t codify themselves out from a paper bag that you like and find inspirational when the role makes legislatively efficacy PREREQUISITE and you have inherently admitted you’ve lost the plot.

And the proof of that is ….@CoriBush is setting in an even deeper groove into that couch of hers for a legitimate reason you all don’t appear to be in tune with.

We have not yet had the pleasure but, I’m certain that will come to pass in due time. Early congrats on your being seated as I cannot imagine the Heights electing a Republican in the 11th hour.

I’m a fairly straightforward constituent. I don’t care about stunts.
I don’t care about viral moments.
I don’t care about the hot takes.
I don’t care what your speedy said.
I don’t care what DSA would prefer.
I don’t care what who or how many without a JD said it’s a genocide and why.

Concerning you, as my elected representative,

I care that you:

1) are writing, filing and at bare minimum are capable of getting your original and substantive bills out of committee in myriad that or or would be additive to my quality of life if brought to passage.

2) at the end of each of your served terms at least one has successfully been confided into law.

So are you gonna be another nyc congressional show pony or are one of you actually going to step tf up and be real legislators getting shown up handily by @RitchieTorres but swear you somebody?

Time will tell….
