I think the Ramapo PD did the best job they could and worked with everything they had at their disposal. Not everything could have been avoided. The Ramapo Police Department in one of the best in the country.
BREAKING: Evidence now suggesting link between Grafton Thomas, the Monsey Machete synagogue attacker, and an earlier vicious stabbing attack in Nov. against a Hasidic man.
Had it been investigated as a hate crime the first time, the Chanukah slaying could have been prevented!
I don't think that it could have been avoided. I believe that the Ramapo Police department did everything they could and worked with everything they had at their disposal after the first stabbing. Be careful with your statements.
When I woke up I was sure it was Thursday, and didn’t realize it was nearing Shabbat until a few hours ago, but at least the challah is done and the wine is abundant so I’m ready to go
Funny how my grandparents (all Hungarian!) insisted on so many values and ethics of their old country, yet telling us the horrors of Anti-Antisemitism they endured during the war.
@KosherTravel That is the truth for many Jews. There are stories of old Hungarian Jewish Soldiers proudly wearing their WWI uniforms after the annexation of parts of Slovakia by Hungary in 1938/9. My great-uncle, Raphael Eisen was one. He too never made it out of Auschwitz.
Thank you for sharing. My great grandfather was also a proud Hungarian Jew. The Hungarian Jews were very patriotic to the their country. Didn't help him at all when he was forced into slave labor. He died (was murdered) in Auschwitz.
@AuschwitzMuseum He was born in Pany in the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1874. He moved to the US to be with older siblings in 1888. Returned to Hungary in 1898. Eight children. Was a proud Hungarian Jew. Owned Vineyards and a winery in Tallya, in Tokaj. Never thought Auschwitz could be.
