I don't know who needs to hear this but in India, residency is one of the most gruelling phase in entire medical training.

Doctor banne se pehle bohot baar toot ke khud ko sambhaalna padta hai. Kitne bhi strong ho kahi naa kahi to toot jaaoge. We all have such memories. Self respect, hunger, sleep and everything goes for a toss.

We need to have some effective rules to ensure safe work hours, adequate rest and leaves which can actually be availed and not looked down upon for the resident doctors.

Lots of doctors would have faced it bravely and did well later in life but not everyone can. Let us be kind and have rules that actually are applicable and not just there on paper.

Today, the entire young generation is demanding for change in our system. But the tool they must use: THE RIGHT TO VOTE FOR CHANGE has been stolen.

Gyanesh Kumar's conduct is manifestly illegal and deserves condemnation from the entire country. He has worked in a manner that will benefit only and only one single political party. And that party today is the BJP. It is fraud committed on the citizens of this country and Gyanesh Kumar must be hauled up in the prison for treason. Gyanesh Kumar is the original anti-national. And his time is up. Every person that ordered Gyanesh Kumar to steal our elections, every officer that helped Gyanesh steal elections, and every beneficiary of such theft will have to be jailed.

They may flee the country but we must ensure that they are brought to justice even from the depths of hell.

With respect and humility, we would like our allies to honour the wisdom and judgment of our freedom fighters, and stand with us in singing only the version of this beautiful and historic song that they adopted. That version was chosen deliberately, to keep the song from being communalised — a threat as real today as it was then.

Upholding it is how we uphold the secular, inclusive character of our Republic.

PGs and Hostels all over the country are in these conditions because there is a false narrative since ages that the more difficulties you study in, the damp room, the broken ventilation, 1 inch thicker mattress, the black mold in the washroom and the 2g protein mess food, the more you will excel in studies because 'struggle cannot be done in good facilities'.

You can't even ask your guardians or parents for better humane facilities because 'aish karne gaya hai ya padai karne' is the first dialogue.

Glorification of the struggle is ONE of the biggest reason why you see kids dying in random building collapse, hostel food, live electrocution and floods.
