@ListerLawrence@Timoldland@fr1tzthecat Not all EVs are created equal. This isn't an EV problem. It's a problem in how manufactures have chosen to handle zero range. Which is why people like TeslaBjørn test this kind of stuff.
@ListerLawrence@Timoldland Instead of basing your assumption on a video, why not base it on a dataset? TeslaBjørn has tested running 30+ cars. It varies from -1 to 56km of driving after the range says zero. Here is the complete dataset:

Oh and most EVs should charge at home. Which means £50 will give you what? 1500 miles of driving?
If you only fast charging EVs makes much less sense.
@mortenolaisen@mpenergi Nå snakker han vel ikke om at det er et problem for elbilistene, men for strømnettet og operatørene. Jeg er enig med deg hva personbiler angår. Videre økt effekt vil koste mer enn det smaker. Samtidig er nok behovet for raskere lading absolutt til stede for feks tungtransport.
@AdyG28@eV_Newt If you only have one that makes sense. My charger has a cable. And both my EVs came with cabels as well, so I don't need three in the garage.
@StephenWensley@RoamingNorway Why not? In Norway (and Sweden) having a trailer hitch is very common. And considered quite important for resale value. And EVs are pretty great at towing short distances.
