@VP Strength by bullying. Since 1964, the US picks fights with smaller countries, thinking it can easily win. And yet, it never wins even those wars, does it? Thus, it is certainly afraid of larger nations. And still has not learned even smaller ones can give it a sound thrashing.
Modern supply chains don't look like trade theory 101!
They involve constant border crossings, each now hit by tariffs.
Tariffs raise prices, but the more important thing they do is disrupt supply relationships.

"If we were to dispense with birthright citizenship, we would erode the sense of equality that Americans enjoy and replace it with tiers—legitimate citizens who can trace their ancestry back a generation or two, and interlopers."

What is most surprising in Moscow's manifest, vicious, and openly genocidal imperialism since 2022 is the continuting widespread sympathy for Russia among many left-wing intellectuals in the West, and most supposedly anti-colonial elites of Latin America, Africa and Asia.
@ColbyBadhwar@3_bm15 500 unrestricted in 2022 would’ve been great. <50 in 2024 after Russia disperses its logistics nodes, then lifting restrictions is not enough and I have no idea what Biden’s military advisors (Sullivan is clearly not up for the job) are doing all day.
Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, mother of Qatar’s Emir, is often celebrated as the most elegant woman in Global politics.
However, beneath this polished image lies a series of controversies involving alleged tax evasion and associations with terrorists.
Let’s take a deep dive : 🧵
I’ve written extensively on how badly the Biden admin has betrayed Ukraine from the earliest days, but new information keeps coming out making it even worse. From Amb John J Sullivan on the Freakonomics podcast, on Trump too. Read or listen to it: https://t.co/NuQCuQsxnl
Trump will say of the Panama Canal, “Look world! We built this!” Yes, well over a century ago. But let’s see him duplicate such a feat today. He couldn’t, because the ineptitude, corruption, and greed of American contractors mimics that of the Russians. So they can’t even try it.
I see the US political system for exactly what it is. An incompetent, corrupt farce resting on the mildewed laurels of past achievements. Hence the desire to “take back Panama Canal.” The imbeciles (our leaders) couldn’t duplicate such a feat as building it. So they must take it.
This wasn’t necessarily the most diplomatic of speeches at the OSCE Ministerial in 🇲🇹 , but it was certainly truthful, to the point and effective. @radeksikorski 🇵🇱
