The problem is this:

1. now they know they can survive a war with the USA
The didnt know that before this war

2. the plan is to make a deal later this year that lifts all sanctions

3. China and others have alreay said they will help rebuild and with the sanctions lifted there will be plenty of money for that

4. they know that now that Trump even couldnt defeat them, a future american president will certainly not attack them again

If Mike Tyson hits you hard, but you survive and dont get knocked out, and you even put pressure on him in some way (Strait of Hormuz) and Tyson want to negotiate with you and settle the battle in a manner you agree with, then yes of course you have won, especially when you know Tyson will be gone soon and his successor will not attack you again

Because when fighting against Tyson, not losing, surviving, is a win for you
And in this case, it will even leave to all sanctions being lifted and being able to generate maximum income in the future

I hope somehow after november something happens that makes Trump go back to war with the IRGC

The government of Iran said on state tv that anyone who tries anything will be executed on the spot

Trump has only 2 years and 7 months left
Any deal will take more than that time to become in full effect
And the next president will not bomb Iran when Iran breaks the deal
That next president will say Trump also couldnt defeat them
So Trump not taking out this regime will mean 100% sure that Iran becomes a nuclear power
