Meet Lady Sub Inspector Anitha, Head Constable Yatish Kumar, and Head Constable Ulvappa posted at HAL Police Station of @BlrCityPolice who were arrested by @jaipur_police from Hotel Gangaur located in Vidhayakpuri area of Jaipur while accepting a bribe of Rs. 40k from the Husband and his family in a Dowry Harassment Case.
It is alleged that these Policemen reached the house of the Husband in Jaipur to investigate an FIR of Dowry Harassment lodged against him and his family by his wife at HAL Police Station in Bengaluru. Here, SI Anitha demanded a bribe of Rs. 2 Lacs from the family to not take any coercive action against them.
The family managed Rs. 40k instantly and SI Vinitha asked them to give 40k now and come to Bengaluru later to give her the balance amount of Rs. 1.6 lacs. The family approached the Jaipur ACB who raided the hotel and arrested all three police personals while they were accepting the bribe of Rs. 40k inside the hotel room. After the ACB raid SI Anitha became unconscious and ACB rushed her to hospital. This is how Police earns its bread and butter from matrimonial disputes.
