Welp, you can't use the Threads app without installing the app, which devours all your personal data. It almost makes me want to start rooting my phone again for the permissions controls alone.
I enjoyed CP2077 because I ignored the hype and had a capable PC that sidestepped most of the launch issues. To say that it was a good launch...is it really so hard to just acknowledge the issues people had? Both sides can be right, but we can't pretend the launch was ok
And I'd consider myself a tech savvy user. If I have to vette an instance and the members (which I'm not really interested in - I use Reddit and Twitter for news) each time, that's exhausting. I'm not saying it's bad, but that's just too much for me.
I unfortunately experienced much of the problems with Mastadon highlighted in this piece when I was looking for Reddit alternatives. I bounced off it hard as soon as I realized (maybe incorrectly) that I have to do all the work to find instances and build my feed myself.
This ban won’t protect Montana residents' private data.
Companies will continue to harvest and monetize personal info and make it widely available to purchasers, thieves, and foreign actors.
Instead of banning the app, pass data privacy laws. https://t.co/LDlTKAgljp
Where will you be during the eclipses in 2023 and 2024?
This map shows the path of the Moon’s shadow as it crosses the contiguous U.S. during the eclipse on Oct. 14, 2023 and total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. Will you get a chance to see them? https://t.co/mC7CagW0AR
I imagine the quietest groups of the CoD community are doing more to incentivize these changes. As a heavy WZ1 player, I tried to give WZ2 a chance (to see if I could get used to it), but the changes introduce way too much RNG into every match. It's just not worth playing for me.
@MKBHD I actually talked about it on stream. I also think it might be an ADHD coping mechanism, but I'm still learning about ADHD, so who knows.

@MKBHD I can't say it's a healthy habits, but I treat tabs like a swap file. I have groups for different mental threads and can completely set them down, go away for months and come back with full mental context restored (even remembering next steps I wanted to take).
@egoraptor Elden Ring helped me realize I might hate myself. 10/10 game of the year, would use to bully myself again. (I don't think I hate myself, but other issues surfaced lol)
I want to thank @Coffee_Stain for the community highlight! This is such an honor! Thank you for making @SatisfactoryAF so well, which is honestly the best early access game I've ever played. I love playing, streaming, and making content with it!
