@DeMagdeburg @JamesManto4 Settings, Notifications, Threads and replies, First threads. Change the setting to "From people you follow". You'd think this would be the default, rather than buried five layers deep, but there you go!

@DeMagdeburg @JamesManto4 You can change the settings to prioritise posts from people you follow. The more people you follow, the more their posts will then drown out the Meta noise. Personally I also just mute anything sports based or generally banal or religious, and day by day the feed improves.

@athyvaya First time I visited GA, we pulled in at the welcome centre. One of the women working there chatted briefly to Heather and me (she loved my accent). She was so friendly and pleasant that I've viewed Georgia positively to this day. Plus I later fell in love with Savannah.

That’s the whole ballgame.
He didn’t deliver on any of his promises.
He didn’t repeal Obamacare, didn’t make Mexico pay for his wall, didn’t lower middle class taxes, cut the deficit, bring back coal or lock her up.
He’s been indicted, he’s been found liable for sexual assault, and he’s under multiple criminal investigations. He very likely sold our national security secrets to the Russians or the Saudis… or who the fuck knows what god awful enemy.
But none of that matters to Ma & Pa MAGA.
He hates who they hate.
He says every hateful, sexist, racist, xenophobic awful thing they’ve thought for their whole lives and have been made to feel shame for even thinking.
He legitimizes their intolerance.
Emboldens their bigotry.
And that is why he could shoot someone (preferably someone they hate but who’s counting) in the middle of 5th Avenue and they would still send him their insulin money every month.

@SoVeryBritish This is a mischaracterisation of the debate. If you put the milk in first, you lower the temperature of the boiling water, and thus prevent the tea from brewing properly. If AI doesn't even understand basic physics, we're probably safe from SkyNet, at least for the time being.

@a_webb @secrettory12 There is no huge influx. We take far fewer refugees than other major European countries. This is just an immeasurably cruel policy directed at the most vulnerable people in language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s, and I’m out of order?
