Almost half of US unicorns were founded by first-generation immigrants.
The chart is from my earlier research on the topic (I should update it — and will), but the point stands: immigrants have an outsized impact on US innovation.
At the time, 65 countries had produced at least one US unicorn founder. I'm sure the count is higher now.

No fewer than two dozen major wars were fought among the Rajputs with zero Muslim involvement. Not a single episode involved self-immolation of any kind. Not one. Neither Indian, nor foreign accounts record a single instance. Now see this:
- 712-712, Dahir of Sind vs. Muhammad bin Qasim: Jauhar committed.
1232-1232, Gwalior (Rajputs) vs. Iltutmish: Jauhar committed
- 1301-1301, Ranthambore vs. Alauddin Khalji: Jauhar committed

Similarly, when the British came, we had a series of gruesome engagements starting with Plassey and Buxar, then going on to the Carnatic Wars, the Anglo-Mysore Wars, the Anglo-Maratha Wars, the Anglo-Gurkha War, the Anglo-Sikh Wars, the Anglo-Burmese Wars, the Anglo-Afghan Wars, and many, many more.
No jauhar.
Now, when someone like that book reviewer condemns “Hindutva” for “glorifying jauhar,” I am fully on their side. I agree it was a morbid ritual that does not belong in a civilized society, thank goodness we no longer do that. But do you see a pattern in the above lists?
Why do you think this macabre ritual was practiced EXCLUSIVELY in conflicts involving Muslim forces?
Why didn’t women feel the need to self-immolate when their kingdoms fell to any other adversary?
You can’t be dumb enough to not draw the only possible conclusion here.
Nobody glorifies jauhar, it was not picnic.
We “honor” it. No, not the immolation itself but the debilitating sentiment behind it. With the honor we keep our alive in our collective memory. Know why?
Because the demons that drove our ancestors to such extremities still live and breathe amongst us to this day.
And they haven’t changed one bit.
When someone prefers death to your touch, what even are you?
That’s the problem. Ppl should understand that Hindus don’t worship Gods and Goddess for longevity of life. They worship so that they can attain moksha or become part of the supreme consciousness. None of the mantra guarantee the longevity of life but moksha.
For years the fraud Sadhguru told followers who paid 50L to him to go to Kailash/Mansarovar through him that he will not allow them to die. Now that 77 of them perished in the Nepal tragedy, he takes refuge under the laws of physics! https://t.co/Jo6dVWAN3R
Why are Indians breaking into a dance in foreign countries?? Have we collectively lost our minds?? With a complete lack of aesthetics in terms of dressing and appearance, this fcking cringefest has to stop 🤬🤬

As I've said before, Indian M are not the problem, at least not the biggest. The almost zero recruitment among ISIS is the strongest evidence that there is no appetite for jihadist movements (except Kashmir)
I fell for anti-ethanol propaganda, but after watching this video I have to admit the reality is quite different.
You should watch it as well and decide for yourself.
Indians have no self respect for themselves that’s why they find reason to find faults in other Indians. Crab mentality. The Ops is right. International flights serve chiken and paneer tikka. I would only add that curry is a big no otherwise any food is fine.
Idiots, stop imposing your version of etiquette. Even in Europe, people are allowed to bring their own food and eat in Trains or buses. No one objects to it. People understand that food is not universal and one man's food can become another man's poison.
Why can you not shut up about what another eats unless he is forcing you?
@gauravkheterpal Mostly it is the mindset of these parents. They think it's a menial job to intern in retail stores. Besides, 99% of grads lack communication and people skills. I’ve been on many campus recruitment, a majority of them can't even frame their questions or response coherently!
Till today, nobody talks about the quiet physical starvation of the modern man.
A man can easily go two, five, or seven years without a single human being touching him in a way that is not transactional. No embrace when he walks through the door, no gentle hand resting on his shoulder, no back pats and no unearned physical affection.
Every touch he receives has something attached to it: a date paid for, a crisis handled, or an expectation met.
We have built a culture where men are treated as hazards by default, so they learn to pull their limbs inward, keep their distance in public, and exist inside an emotional perimeter. When a human body goes years without warmth, It numbs itself to survive.
So before society lectures men on why they seem emotionally distant or cold, it needs to ask when was the last time anyone held them without demanding something in return.
Let me say this loud and clear to my Indian brothers and sisters:
MOST WHITE PEOPLE ARE LIKE THIS MAN!
Don't let these X race grifters, opportunistic politicians, and occasional idiots in real life fool you into thinking otherwise.
Don't let the @SaraGonzalesTX, @ANTHONYDESPO, @Michellebbz, @KenPaxtonTX, @BoFrench, @slocumfortexas types get you down with their H-1B visa dog whistles, and their allies and supporters calling you dirty, smelly, cooking with your feet, nasty, scamming, fraudsters.
You know better.
I know better.
And most good people know better.
Hold your heads high and proud.
You are Indians - no one's slaves or servants.
You are smart, intelligent, educated, resilient, hard-working people with great family values, a beautiful, rich history, and a vibrant, diverse culture.
Jai Hind!
🇺🇸 🤝 🇮🇳
I was about to say something mean to that family also, but then I didn't.
I think in 2023 I went to Varanasi...and a lot of people were talking of how cool the dividers on the streets were.
I wanted to laugh, but then realized a divider on a road really can be something new to people. Not everyone has had the same opportunities in life that I had.
Give it a few years, people in India will also get used to expressways.
@sushilanand1954@Chopsyturvey There was something happen during the Puranik period which lead to some corruption. Earlier bifurcation is not similar to today’s caste structure.
The Shiva Parivar is one of the most luminous and philosophically complete visions in Hindu tradition
A divine household that unites supreme consciousness with dynamic energy, ascetic stillness with householder love, and cosmic power with intimate family life.
On Mount Kailash, Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesha, and Lord Kartikeya (Skanda/Murugan) live together with Nandi, the lion, Mushika the mouse, Vasuki the serpent, and the peacock - creatures that in the natural world stand in relations of predator and prey.
the chain of predation is clear: the lion preys upon cattle; the serpent hunts the mouse; the peacock hunts the serpent. Yet on Kailash the lion rests beside Nandi, Vasuki coils peacefully around Shiva’s neck while Mushika remains unharmed at Ganesha’s feet, and the peacock stands near without striking.
Each family member grants shelter to both predator and prey, recognizing hunger and fear on every side. The result is not the abolition of nature but its transfiguration under higher consciousness.
The Shiva Parivar is the reconciliation of Purusha and Prakriti, of the yogi and the householder, of the fierce and the tender. It shows that true peace does not require sameness.
The image remains one of the most beautiful statements Hindu tradition has ever made: that the universe itself can live as a family when consciousness, energy, wisdom, and valour dwell together without enmity.
>Why can't Indians enjoy the same level of QOL as people enjoy in 1st-world countries?
Govt: We can't provide that to you at $3k PCI, but we are building infra and industries that can help you reach that level.
> noo you Adani Ambani, Don't cut trees, slums are kalchar saar
