Two legends, one Hall of Fame class 🐐
Candace Parker made sure Chamique Holdsclaw got her flowers before they BOTH took their place in basketball history 🫡
Former Met Butch Huskey has passed away at the age of 54.
Huskey was selected by the Mets in the seventh round of the 1989 MLB Draft, made his major-league debut in 1993 and played parts of five seasons with the Mets. He had his best statistical year in New York in 1997, when he hit 24 home runs in 142 games. Huskey is also the penultimate Met to wear No. 42 and was wearing the number when MLB announced it was being retired league-wide in 1997 to honor Jackie Robinson. Huskey was allowing to continue wearing No. 42 under a grandfather clause.
He went on to play for the Mariners, Red Sox, Twins and Rockies in his MLB career. RIP.
@janatkwagala whats the term? a hit dog will holla? Being held accountable is NOT for her. I get some people might take that too far, but it should NOT be a "red flag' for YOU
@duckedtfoffff i feel for her. Not that I know dude or anything, but young dudes that other women KNOW have money and status, being faithful is NOT usually on the agenda. he might buy some expensive crap to get back in her good graces.
@BbwMaturity its the same for both genders, sometimes it's because its ALL they know. Sometimes its what "turns them on" and sometimes its because they themselves are also toxic
not to laugh, but people attract who they are as people. He getting the same disrespect he dishes out as far as I can see. So....... are we surprised? I mean they BOTh out of pocket plus they filmed it.
@AngrymanChannel perspective: You are speaking as if cracking the top 10 matters to him. He has name recognition, he made his money. Sold millions of actual albums, not streams. His core audience will be with him and thats all he needs.
Joe Haden says most people have no idea how quickly an NFL contract disappears once taxes and family expenses hit.
“I signed a five-year, $50 million contract.”
“I had about $26.6 million guaranteed.”
“My first year, I got a $12 million signing bonus.”
“After taxes, I only touched around $7 million.”
“The first thing I did was give my parents $3 million.”
“Then I bought them a $1 million house.”
“So right away, about $5 million was gone.”
“I bought my brothers cars.”
“I bought myself a penthouse.”
“I got a Range Rover Sport and a Bentley GT.”
“People hear $50 million and think you’ve got $50 million sitting in the bank.”
“That’s not how it works.”
“You look up after all that and realize you might only have around $1 million left.”
“You start understanding real quick that a $50 million contract is not actually $50 million.”
“That’s why so many guys go broke.”
@MatrixMysteries thats not a scam. if you borrow 50k but take 10 years to pay back half of it this whats going to happen when interest is involved. This why the Obama administration made financial institutions put the min payment warning on bills.
