Our Alta Mesa Central Processing Plant ranks first nationwide for pounds of yellowcake (U3O8) processed using In-Situ Recovery technology in Q2 of 2025! We are grateful for the talented team at enCore ($EU) for making this happen, and we look forward to continuing to lead the way in domestic uranium extraction using In-Situ Recovery technology.

On behalf of @enCoreEnergy_EU , I want to express my sincere appreciation to Paul Goranson @GoransonPaul for his leadership and dedication in helping build enCore into the company it is today. His contributions have been instrumental in advancing us toward production, and we thank him for his years of service. Changes in leadership are never easy; I hold Paul in high regard and I wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
Second, I acknowledge that questions and concerns have been raised and I recognize that there has been a lack of clarity in communication. I want to assure you that enCore remains in a strong position, with an exceptionally skilled technical team in place. enCore Energy today provided an update on the production ramp up at the Alta Mesa CPP and Wellfield. 😃
Significant operational highlights include:
- The three IX circuits each have 2,500 gallons per minute (“gpm”) capacity. The first IX circuit was commissioned in June 2024, with the second IX circuit planned to commence operation in Q1/25 and the third IX circuit planned to be online by year end of 2025. Ion exchange is a filtration system which removes liquid uranium from groundwater before it is dried and processed into U3O8 (“yellowcake” or “uranium”) at the CPP;
- The Alta Mesa CPP’s three IX circuits have a total flow rate of 7,500 gpm, equaling an annual recovery capacity of 1.5 million pounds of yellowcake when operating at full capacity;
- Since the June 2024 start-up of the Alta Mesa CPP, enCore has expanded Wellfield 7 from 27 injection and 34 recovery wells to 46 injection and 52 recovery wells while bringing the flow rate up to 2,100 gpm. Wellfield 7 is projected to provide the initial feed to all three IX circuits;
- The next ramp up currently underway, with an estimated completion date of November 2024, will further expand the number of injection and production wells at Wellfield 7 and is expected to increase flow rates to the capacity of the first IX circuit.
Alta Mesa hosts a fully licensed and constructed ISR uranium plant, located on 200,000+ acres of private land in the state of Texas. Alta Mesa is enCore’s second producing location and operates under a 70/30 joint venture between enCore Energy Corp. and Boss Energy Limited with enCore Energy as the managing operator. 🤝🌎

enCore Energy celebrated the restart of the Alta Mesa Plant and Wellfield in south Texas on October 3rd, featuring an exclusive conversation with George W. Bush, 43rd President of the United States. 🇺🇸
enCore Energy’s In-Situ Recovery Uranium Processing Plants play a significant role in the local economy; enCore has a workforce of 134 employees, the majority of whom attended the Grand Opening. 👏
With the restart of Alta Mesa (as well as the Rosita Plant that restarted last year), enCore creates new jobs, affording local residents the convenience of working nearby and reducing the necessity for long-distance travel. The restart of these Plants is also crucial to provide the U.S. with domestically produced uranium to fuel carbon-free nuclear energy; most of the uranium consumed by the United States is currently exported from geopolitically unstable countries. 😃
The event, co-hosted by Boss Energy Ltd, was attended by over 300 people and honored Dr. Dennis Stover, PhD, who has played a crucial role in shaping the uranium industry over the last 50+ years. 🤝
