@XenoFanboy@OMGItsSwoosh_ 50% of his use as a tank is a huge shield that melee completely ignores. Just because he has some ability to stand in a close fight for a short time doesn't make him brawl. He's less poke than Mag, but he's still poke. And that AoE pull needs to go...
@XenoFanboy@OMGItsSwoosh_ Because he gets rolled by true brawl or dive when he's isolated. He wants to sit up front to shield and pressure the tanks, but far enough away that he's not in a fist fight. The AoE is for diving into squishes then immediately escaping, or pressuring off anyone in your face.
@adeath4u@solotanking Mag is fun as fuck to play when you can get shots into the backline and you take Sue or CnD's face off with a three button combo. Playing into a Strange or another Mag isn't fun though, and that's like 90% of your games.

@epicureanphilos@mertonesque Kind of a cheat when you have to change singer every 5 years thanks to their shenanigans. As influential as Will Swan is though, I imagine not many people know him outside of Swancore fans. Johnny Craig casts a big shadow on that band if you count ex-singers.
@Moroatlis They're hoping for these tanks to have DPS damage/util and Tank health pools so they can play DPS and pretend they're tanking for the team. Everyone wants an anchor tank until they have to play them, because they're "boring" if they aren't flying around like a crack addict.
@scott_timbrell@salmoona_ ...or they get put up in the thick of it for them to apply pressure on squishies and help Namor before he right clicks them. It solves the chip damage kill on that final slither of health on spidey when he's managed to disengage and escape out to his supports 30+m away.
@scott_timbrell@salmoona_ They shouldn't be killing alone anyway. The main problem with them is that they alert to everything regardless of range so flanking divers get poked and the supports turn early. With limited range they either sit back to defend and Namor has to kill alone in teamfights...
@scott_timbrell@salmoona_ Difference being that if Namor wants to make his squids useful all the time they need to push them up in range of the tanks and the likes so they are more vulnerable and get targeted more. At the moment they can leave them waaaay off the teamfights and still poke out dive safely.
@IceDriverToni@Rigsychu So a character who has the defining aspects of multiple character's kits (invis, wall run and dash, AoE CC, walls like Punisher, portals) isn't making others inferior because some get number changes? She makes Iron Fist obsolete because if you wanna melee she has that AND util.
@KuzanKuul@HoshizoraTTV Then you run into the tanks. Squishies are easy, other supports a little tougher. Tanks walk you down if you don't have help. At lower ELOs healbots keeping the tanks alive is enough to stop a single support carry. You gotta roll tank or DPS to truly carry.
@KuzanKuul@HoshizoraTTV Ehh. CnD can't really "carry" at any rank. Not enough damage. They're the most stable support at basically all ranks, and can maybe even solo heal in metal ranks down. But if your tanks aint tanking, or dps aint killing, even the best CnD in the game can't stem a slow bleed loss.
