I’m hoping this crowd can help me understand some @Tesla numbers.
I’ve tracked the life of the car energy through the infotainment screen with a result of 8,590 kWh. However when digging deeper with an OBD 2 reader, I see “Drive Total”, “Charge Total”, and “Discharge Total” with
None of them comparible to the other. My goal is to figure out:
1) Why is there 4 diff numbers?
2) Which one is right for total energy the car has used for the miles driven?
3) If diff from the Infotainment, how to get the right number on the screen?
Took the long way back from Fairbanks with a stop in Delta then Tok before getting back to Glennallen. 543 mile driven, 161% of the battery, roughly 148.4 kWh consumed in the @LucidMotors Pure.
If @LucidMotors stumbles upon these road trip clips, my request is that you guys add an energy tracker app similarly to what @Rivian has. It would really be cool to know more about where the juice is going and the current effects of my driving techniques.
Took the @LucidMotors Pure from Anchorage to Fairbanks last weekend. 378 miles between driveway and driveway. Took 112% of the battery, roughly 103 kWh for this drive. The warmer temps are a big a help in efficiency.
To the Stats!
307.1 miles driven.
92.6 kWh consumed. (Or 101% of the battery)
One charging stop required.
Oh and look at the obserd 25 miles driven between 46% and 45% SoC. I just love how EVs put kenetic energy into potential energy when doing a long downhill.
With the start of May and the temps reaching into the 50°F’s here, figured it was time to hit the road and head over to Valdez for a day. Took the @lucidmotors Pure AWD and finding the range is getting better as the temps go to summer.
