An Open Letter to the $AVAX Community 📝

Back in 2018, I was a Bitcoin maxi. From 2019 to 2021, I basically lived on Ethereum.

Then in Fall 2021, I discovered Avalanche and I’ve never looked back! Nearly 4 years later, I’m proud to call this chain my home. 🔺

So why did I come here? And what made me stay?

At first, it was the hype around $TIME Wonderland. The insane yields. The lambo calculators. It sure was a wild time!

As someone who usually prided himself on “fundamentals over degen,” I was legitimately surprised how drawn in I was. Avalanche had awakened something inside me I didn’t know was there.

The network itself blew me away… fast, cheap transactions after years of paying $100 gas fees and waiting 20 minutes on Eth. Avalanche felt like freedom at last.

Soon after, I found @chikn_nft… tri-tokenomics at its finest, DeFi meets high yield NFTs. 🐓

What I really found there, though, was community. I became active in Discord, started sharing on X, and built real relationships.

I listened to @TheBokcast. I looked up to legends like @onethird_nerd, @SirCluxalott, and @grenvilleriley. I saw builders like @WojakSatoshi and @gribbly_fire shaping something big.

That journey even led me to my first crypto conference in Barcelona, where online frens became real-life family.

Sure, the Chikn team made mistakes (flirting with Polygon comes to mind 😅), but the bonds remained.

Not long after, @CoqInuAvax was born…another project that rallied the people I knew, respected, and trusted.

Since then, I’ve traveled the world as an unofficial ambassador for $AVAX and $COQ. New York. Austin. Nashville. Buenos Aires. London.

I’ve met so many incredible people: @el33th4xor, @JohnNahas84, @coopernicus01, @DominicCarb, @avery_bartlett, and countless others who’ve made this ecosystem what it is.

I even got to give Emin a $COQ tattoo on his arm and handed him the first issue of CQ: Coq Quarterly Magazine!

Through it all, one truth stands out: community matters.

It’s what holds us together in bull markets and bear markets. It’s what turns protocols into cultural movements. And to me, it’s what makes Avalanche more than just another blockchain.

As we head into what could be the most exciting Alt Season of our lives (or the start of another bear market, depending on who you talk too) let’s stick together. Let’s support one another. Let’s be the kind of community members we wish our community always had.

I love you all, and I truly hope we win in this journey TOGETHER! 💕
