@wmata your fare gates at NoMa are dangerous. Tapped my card, registered on display, gate opened. 1/2 second later, as I started passing, it slammed shut with excessive force, could easily cause injury. Station manager: "I apologize but I don't control these." What gives???

@Metrorailinfo TY. Already decided to walk 🤷♂️. I’m saying this as someone who wants Metrorail to thrive: things were better for a few years after the low in the mid-10s. But lately it seems reliability has taken a massive hit again. Nothing will precipitate a death spiral more than this.
Many autistic people put subtitles on for every show they watch, even if they have a strong sense of hearing. This may be because the auditory processing differences and delays that many of us have mean we wouldn’t be able to follow what’s happening on our screens without them.
