In 2013, Raghuram Rajan raised $26 billion from NRIs & it saved our Rupee from falling further.
This June the RBI opened the same window & asked for $80 billion & surprisingly it got $136 billion & it has stopped the scheme a month early.
The rupee still broke 95 & is still looking weaker !
