The Kennedy Center was named after my uncle, President John F Kennedy. It was named in his honor. He was a man who was interested in the arts, interested in culture, interested in education, language, history. He brought the arts into the White House, and he and my Aunt Jackie amplified the arts, celebrated the arts, stood up for the arts and artists.

It is beyond comprehension that this sitting president has sought to rename this great memorial dedicated to President Kennedy. It is beyond wild that he would think adding his name in front of President Kennedy’s name is acceptable. It is not.

Next thing perhaps he will want to rename JFK Airport, rename the Lincoln Memorial, the Trump Lincoln Memorial. The Trump Jefferson Memorial. The Trump Smithsonian. The list goes on.

Can we not see what is happening here? C’mon, my fellow Americans! Wake up! This is not dignified. This is not funny. This is way beneath the stature of the job. It’s downright weird. It’s obsessive in a weird way. Just when you think somone can’t stoop any lower, down they go…

* I provide a full operational update on all the wildfires across the U.S.

* The Grand Canyon Lodge in the Park burned down due to the Dragon Bravo Fire. 500 guests had to be evacuated from the Park.

* The Deer Creek Fire in Utah had a massive firewhirl, honestly, it was a tornado that ripped roofs off houses and tossed debris and vehicle parts into fire engines on scene. All while the fire went huge. Folks on scene say it was the craziest Fire weather they have seen in 25 years.

* I cover the aviation mishap that took place on the Pomas Fire in Washington, where a sling load was accidentally jettisoned while a Hotshot Crew was awaiting to receive it.

* Injuries and incidents are seeing an uptick. I cover the firefighter who accidentally cut their foot with a chainsaw and others.

* A caterer incident in California…

@FightWithMemes Ridiculous. Not even true at all. A family of four with a net monthly income of $1,000 might have a maximum allotment of $975. Their SNAP benefit would be calculated as: 30% of their net income: 0.30 * $1,000 = $300. SNAP benefit: $975 - $300 = $675
