Whatever your feelings on President Biden, his life's journey with tragedy and loss has made him unusually prepared to connect with Americans in this moment of our history. And it really shows.
For 5 years I’ve been writing this essay about CSA & how my understanding of what happened to me radically changed over time. It’s one of the most naked things I’ve written. I removed & replaced “essayist” from my bio 10 times while struggling through it.

It delights me to think that what feels historical and amazing to us today—a woman sworn in to the vice presidency—will seem normal, obvious, "of course" to Kamala's grand-nieces as they grow up. And they will be right.

"Don't be afraid of Covid." Are you kidding me? After 210,000 deaths in the U.S. & 1 million deaths worldwide? This either shows a breathtakingly callous, inhumane & counterproductive attitude, or he has altered mental status – in which case the 25th Amendment should be invoked.
@realDonaldTrump Don’t be afraid of Covid? Not every American has access to the top therapeutics and doctors with the most advanced equipment available to the President of the United States. You feel better than you did 20 years ago? That’s because of your dexamethasone high that resembles mania.
