@moniza_hossain Oh wow. That’s shameful. I get defending her as a “good person overall”, but that shouldn’t absolve her of fault. It’s pressure from fans that would make the most impact on her decisions, not from other people who have no effect on her life.

@casslarose @moniza_hossain Lol I think it’s by design. I try to keep my social media usage to areas I know aren’t going to be overly horrible and the algorithm seems to have picked up on it lately. Though for Taylor I’ve been disappointed by the Gaylors who seem set on her publicly coming out as lesbian.🤦🏻‍♀️

@Sappho_Lovell @moniza_hossain Definitely agreed though that hardcore Taylor stans are scary. Tbh I’m not big on hardcore stans of anybody. A lot of stans definitely do show similarities to organized cult members or victims.

Most people (religious or non-religious) don’t actually know what the word religion even covers and/or means. They then form opinions on what religion is based on their own experiences rather than education.

@Virgurilla Same! I was taking classes for confirmation and child me was not having questions about “plotholes” answered when I raised concerns. When a kid can poke holes in a lessons that the teacher can’t account for, something is wrong with the lesson.

@Sappho_Lovell @moniza_hossain It’s the same thing with anything that people are used to being mocked for. After awhile sitting around listening to people bashing your interests is frustrating. It sounds a lot more hostile than you might intend.

People who repeatedly get insulted even mocked for their passions are going to start getting preemptively defensive when the conversation again turns negative.
