@tisonprincipal A)7 My students LOVE them. They love the oppotunity to share about themselves and learn things about each other. They also love having a break from Math to do them! 😉 #flippedtison

[Kristi Younger @KristiYounger]

@tisonprincipal A)6 Make & Take time to invest in conversation with your students outside of "content" & "classroom" talk. It's amazing what you learn and can make connections about! #flippedtison

[Kristi Younger @KristiYounger]

@tisonprincipal A)5 Letting go can be hard sometimes. However, when students know they have an opportunity for a fresh start, that itself provides an opportunity to build a better relationship. #flippedtison

[Kristi Younger @KristiYounger]

@tisonprincipal A)3 - The word "Control" comes to mind. Control of the situation. Control of emotions. #flippedtison

[Kristi Younger @KristiYounger]

@tisonprincipal A)2 - Often times, the student causing the problem is too intimidating to the other students to "snitch". As teachers, we hope that someone would come forward and spill the beans. I love the idea of giving them the job of keeping an eye out! #flippedtison

[Kristi Younger @KristiYounger]

@tisonprincipal A)1 - I think that setting clear expectations and follow through are extremely important for well managed classroom. Unfortunately, I find myself not maintaining consistency with it. I may give one student more "wiggle" room than another. #flippedtison
