Thought for the day: You wouldn’t build an education system tied to housing prices if you wanted equitable education. School choice levels the playing field for students & enables parents to decide how to best meet the needs of their children.
When Allyson Felix decided to start a family in 2018, Nike offered a contract that was 70% less & had no guarantees if her performance declined due to pregnancy.
So she left Nike, signed a deal with Athleta, has a 2-year-old daughter & just won her 10th Olympic medal.
Legend 🙏

It is great to see @UccelloBecki and her beautiful daughter in this photo of @GovParsonMO signing MO’s 1st ever ESA #SchoolChoice bill. This bill is designed to help families like the Uccellos & they have been tireless advocates.
Izzi, you did this! Your voice matters.
I was able to tour the vaccination center Operation Safe today at @Cerner in NKC. They’re doing an amazing job with their distribution of vaccinations. I hope everyone signs up as soon as they can.

Candidates: Charter Schools are public schools. Some are better than traditional schools. Like Success Academy in NYC. Most are no worse. We close more bad charters than bad traditional schools. I agree ALL public schools should be held to high standard. Parents deserve a choice

@MARTIN_CASAS@DoyleMurphy “Cops sat the woman at a table...questioning her as a cardboard cutout of Batman glowered over the scene”. If I ever get questioned by cops, it better involve a superhero cutout ⚡️
