@AbbaglivoLaw 2/2: Was the school claims that they were unaware in this matter true? Regardless the teacher should be held accountable and be #charged. They administered an assignment which included the infiltration of a #sensitive topic and this is not #appropriate.
https://t.co/sUf3T9HuoD
@AbbaglivoLaw 1/2: This is absurd, no one should have an assignment assuming that the #death penalty should be applied to Nikolas Cruz, especially in a school that was near where the shooting occurred. Coral Glades High School #administration claims they were #unaware but this is #not ok.
@sabdelvastolaw@AbbaglivoLaw 2/2: It is evident that the police service is a necessary service provided to all Canadian citizens in #emergency circumstances. With a plethora of calls, having a child call with a not high-risk situation like this is a #punishable offence. Can the police #charge the parents?
@sabdelvastolaw@AbbaglivoLaw 1/2: I also strongly agree, these parents need to assure they properly educate their child and prevent her from dialling 911. This child is #not accountable as it is common for children to make mistakes but this is #serious.

2/2: This is not the first but #one of many, several local women said the violence is escalating. No one has taken responsibility for the wave of assaults that the U.N. and African Union have #condemned as โpredatory.โ When will they end this or start to #protect these women?
1/2: In South Sudan, a woman and her friend were bound, dragged into the bush and #raped by #four men with guns. Both women said that they were too far from their village for anyone to hear them #screaming. #Sexual assault is a horrible offence. #ItMustEnd

3/3: For obvious reasons, the #Ford government is taking steps back not forward. After the tragedy in Walkerton in 2000, the apparent issues of not assuring that our water is cleaned will create large effects in our environment. #Terminate Bill 66 and clean our water.
1/3: Bill 66 is #underimining clean-water protections and the Clean Water Act is being #violated. This act served as a mandate that all Ontarians should be provided with the right to clean drinking water that is from our lakes, rivers and streams.
https://t.co/sGOYyz1pEl
2/3: Many people have stated that #Bill 66 constitutes the biggest and most significant environmental rollback to occur in a generation in Ontario and this is not ok. Why would the #Ford government not want to provide Ontarians with clean drinking water? #Criminal
@PaytonMLaw@VanessaClaw 2/2: A #survior of solitary confinement speaks out about the cruelty of this form of punishment. I understand that they are criminals, but it does not mean they deserve to be tortured beyond reason. Why would Canada not choose to ban this form of cruelty?
https://t.co/Bc81aQdgcd
@PaytonMLaw@VanessaClaw 1/2: I agree with Vanessa, Solitary confinement is #criminal. Yes, some criminals should not be let back into society, but Cesare Beccaria argued that the crime should fit the punishment. This form of punishment is #inhumane and this is what he argued #against.
2/2: Peel Regional Police sent out an #arrest warrant around 5 p.m. Saturday for Mark Mahabir and said he turned himself in shortly after. The police stated that the boy was found with obvious signs of trauma. What was the #alterior motive with these brothers, was their one?
1/2: A 14-year-old boy was found #murdered in a Mississauga park. Two brothers, Mark and Nicholas Mahabir, both 20 years of age, were arrested and charged with #second-degree murder over the weekend in connection with the boyโs death.

3/3: S.9 in the charter states that you cannot be arbitrarily detained or imprisoned, in this instance, we can say that these people had this right violated. Although one man had an altercation the other 8 people were arrested for #trespassing. This is not ok, its a #violation.
1/3: A protest against the UN migration pact on Parliment Hill resulted in 9 #arrests. More than 400 people attended the protest and counterprotest, it was considered peaceful with a #high police presence but 9 arrests resulted.
https://t.co/w9LBgfU62P
2/3: A man was #arrested and is #facing a charge of assaulting a police officer and eight other people were also arrested and released with trespass notices. This raises issues within the constitution, why would they arrest people #peacefully protesting? #ItsTheirRight
3/3: To be able to peacefully protest is a right within the #14th amendment in the US that is given to all US citizens. Not only was he wrong to drive into a group of people, but those who were peacefully protesting as well. This is their #right as well not just his.#BeRespectful
1/3: A man is convicted with #first-degree murder after he killed a woman when he drove into a crowd at the Charlottesville white nationalist rally in Virginia. The state jury rejected arguments that he acted in self-defence. #MurderisMurder
https://t.co/17AQTTH652
2/3: The jurors also convicted Mr. Field of eight other #charges, including #aggravated malicious wounding and hit and #run. What was his #motive in this situation? It came when counterprotesters marched through Charlottesville, and video evidence proves that he was #guilty.
3/3: Contrary to the #law, teenagers do not care to follow the rules as vaping is the new #trendy thing to do. It has become such an issue that teachers are #catching their students vaping in the school. When will this line be drawn so these teens stop violating the law?
1/3: #Teen vaping in Canada has become more of an issue than ever. Recent #data is proving that Canada's vaping landscape changed dramatically when the #new#federal law made it legal to sell nicotine vaping products. An evident increase in teen use.
https://t.co/tRLcB1Yzpc
2/3: What is it that makes vaping so #appealing to the teenage audience? It was when the #Juul entered the Canadian market, giving teens the instant rush of nicotine that became very popular. But the issue with this is under the Tabacco and Vaping Products #Act, this is #illegal.
