I'm super excited to share the first publication from our interdisciplinary research project on green infrastructure planning for multifunctional benefits is out in Land with open access: https://t.co/2f8WS1sMId
Highlights: 1) low-scoring benefit scores occur in dense urban areas where small-scale nature-based solutions or rehabilitation activities are required, and 2) Moderate benefit scores occur in parts of the city that are vulnerable to urban expansion and densification activities.
@ProfAstellBurt Thank you @ProfAstellBurt I have been following your work for years, and I'm happy to contribute to our understanding of mental health and green space
I'm happy to share my newest paper showing a positive association between current mental well-being and green space around people's residence for ~66k Danish individuals. https://t.co/gBgb78i6iG
The results compliment our previous studies showing a positive association between green space and psychiatric disorders later in live, by connecting green space to current well-being. Planning for access to natural environments for all ages should be a priority in urban planning
Our paper on #PLOSONE is out! Are you interested in the monitoring of #rewilding progress through #wildlife tracking and #RemoteSensing? Then you should definitely check it out! ๐ Co authored by @JCSvenning & Rob Buitenwerf of @BiochangeAU https://t.co/5C0Nuq1SMn
