ABTC CEO Ryan Melsert spoke about our latest announcement during BMO Capital Markets’ Global Metals, Mining & Critical Minerals Conference this week, sharing more about the Inferred Resource Report that identified ABTC's Tonopah Flats Project as one of the largest known lithium deposits in the country. Ryan shared that this lithium deposit, "paired with the extraction technique that we’ve been developing over the past few years, makes for a very compelling source we can use to address our domestic needs."

"Our minimum cutoff for the type of [extraction] process we have is about 300 parts per million, and in several of these holes, 100% of the samples taken throughout the entire depth - other than the first 40 feet of overburden - was above that 300ppm concentration, which means we have a very consistent resource, and a large amount of it that is applicable to our extraction process.
Over the past few months, we’ve been going through our initial maiden resource report, quantifying our drilling data. We went through the data ourselves in the fall, and then brought on an outside firm to essentially audit and act as our Qualified Person. We’ve completed that analysis now and just today have published our first Inferred Resource Report, which is showing that this specific resource itself - we’ve explored the first 65% of it - has inferred resource of just over 15 million tons on a lithium carbonate basis.
So, one of the largest resources in the country and, paired with the extraction technique that we’ve been developing over the past few years, makes for a very compelling source we can use to address our domestic needs."
