→ needs Accessibility permission (broad — be skeptical, MIT licensed, ~3k lines, SECURITY.md tells you exactly what it reads)
→ relies on a private Apple framework (no public API exists for this — can break on macOS updates)
→ no telemetry, no account, ever

The Magic Mouse can sense 5 fingers. macOS uses almost none of it — you get a couple of checkboxes in System Settings and that's it.

So I built MagicBind: bind any finger-count tap, swipe, hold, or click to an action. Open source, free.

What you can bind:
→ 1–5 finger taps, double taps, holds, swipes
→ 20 system actions (Mission Control, Screen Capture, Volume, Copy/Paste, Back/Forward...)
→ custom shortcuts, launch apps, shell commands, AppleScript
→ works on Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, built-in trackpad

@Prathkum I agree with this partially. Yes the execution matters, the product should solve the problem it was built for but the speed at which it solves, the type of users it carter matters too. For that we would definitely need to focus on stack.
