@StorySpinner15 Have you tried joining/creating one through their Facebook group (I believe it’s called SCBWI Critique Group Finder)? Since everything’s been virtual anyway, that’s how I found one of mine and formed another one.
@thushponweera My eldest is learning to read/write, and I was so happy when she spelled “something” as “sumping”, because that’s how she says it, and it broke my heart to tell her how it’s actually pronounced.
@sikes_kaitlin TOTAL hard pass! I was in the middle of a great short story by a writer I love and had to stop and skip the rest when I could see where the story was heading.
