After my friend died last summer, I made a promise to "game" more and get over that "productive" voice inside my head that tells me relaxing is for the priveleged. So, I got Fallout 76 so I could nuke my hometown.
But...8 hours to install on my Xbox?
Is this for real?
@AmberCarvaly I find its important to remember that people are conditioned differently when it comes to apologies. Since I came to the midwest I often have to remind them that sorry is not a magic word, there's more to it. It sounds very formal Academic, which is why it reeks of a 'catch'.
Just a reminder to everyone that "The Great Gatsby" enters the public domain at 12 am on Friday. Get your revisionist stage adaptations, including musicals, started now!
Why 530 Frozen Bodies Sit in a Brooklyn Warehouse
In the first wave of #Covid, the crush of bodies overwhelmed New York City’s capacity to deal with the dead. Now, the city is prepared if a second onslaught occurs.

He's also got some fatty tumors around his butt and a saggy old man weiner, which is cute to us.
We've laid down a trail of rugs through the house to the most important spots and he spent about 45 minutes exploring before finally settling down on some blankets.
He's home now.
Meet Roman, our new Forever Foster. He's 12, mostly blind and deaf but still very spry. He's also got ear issues as a previous owner neglected them and over time & many infections his ear canals closed with scar tissue, so he shakes his head alot & those ears flop adorably about.
We are not overpopulated on this planet but we are suffering from the results of centuries of overpopulating areas/locations beyond their ability to support/sustain themselves. The West is especially guilty of this in order to exploit everyone & everything to the max.
No. Not on the planet.
Massive numbers condensed into Metropolitan areas which can't support them, insisting on upholding that lifestyle, means others must be exploited in order for that to continue, always has.
Metro populations are truly why we can't leave fossil fuels behind.
Honestly, no need to jump to the abhorrence of eugenics. Let's give this a shot as a first step: Metro areas need to chill on "growth" all around. Time to stop sucking up all the resources for exclusivity because it pads your egos. Time to start sharing and stop taking.
1. Today we’re launching our new series The Death Gap: End-Of-Life Inequality. The series will examine the various ways in which systemic racism impacts the way BIPOC communities experience death and access end-of-life care.

@jessica_salfia We've started making our own so we could have more heat but keep the flavor. This is one of the first recipes we tried and then slightly modified: https://t.co/cy0cg3NDA3

Well that's...promising? Unless we are talking Demolition Man meets Handmaid Tale where we are forced to marry and have our reception at the only restaurant to survive 2020.
Woke up this morning expecting to be at the cabin. Then I remembered we had to send Dolly away for cremation and I cried. I've always had the body to care for after. I got to wash, shroud, & carry her out but...idk, I feel useless & like I abandoned her. The closure isn't there.
