@DrEilidhMaria Very interesting points. However aren’t most degrees oversaturated with graduates especially with the current climate? I studied midwifery and in 2018 we all got offered jobs however now there are a handful of jobs in each board.

@DrEilidhMaria Oh man, so awful. I hope you’re feeling better soon! I attended A&E in Jan with gallbladder attack and was left writhing on the floor in pain for hours and there were multiple people around me vomitting everywhere and I wanted to go home to avoid catching something!!

@SarahCholwill What was necessary about arriving early? Can you feedback on that? Next time I’d disregard that and maybe get there 5-10 mins early maximum! Hope you eventually got seen!

@DPearsonPHL Depends what age we’re talking about. I’m still in toddlerhood with mine so always have snacks as they are growing at a rapid rate. My daughter eats her 3 full meals but in the mornings she’s starving! Porridge loaded with stuff and she’s hungry an hour later.

@Zmama12268187 @BradfemlyWalsh Yeah totally barbaric! had an epidural with my first born and it wasn’t working fully but they decided to just take away the clicker from me when I needed to push. Heard another midwife actually say what they did to me was barbaric and of course ended up an instrumental delivery!

@BradfemlyWalsh Truly! I despair. I’ve had 2 babies very differing experiences with pain relief. So I can see how it’s easily done by the “professonals”

@BradfemlyWalsh I hadn’t heard of this procedure before,just read on the nhs website that you should take ibuprofen 1 hour before to help with the pain & not all places will offer sedation! It then says you may feel sick and faint during the procedure! Why isn’t sedation just normal procedure?

@Hereforfoolery2 Usually babies are born at night, it’s a primitive thing where animals felt safer away from predators so would birth at night. However if you need induced or a section babies will come whenever as it’s technically artificial. Learned this when I trained to be a midwife.

Majchrzak was seen trying to hand the boy his hat when a grown man took it and stashed it in a bag.

@adhdjesse Yeah Persephone really got my until I was explaining a book to my mum when I was about 12 and she told me the true pronunciation but in my head I’ll always say it Per-se-phone 😂
