People don’t realize that being a genuinely kind person will make you incredibly intelligent. It requires a level of consciousness expansion to be consistently committed to being well intentioned & good natured. It requires a lot presence, observance, sensitivity, intuition. Intelligence of the heart.
You don’t become dangerous by learning more. You become dangerous by needing less. Less validation, less approval, less reassurance. The fewer emotional requirements you carry into interactions, the harder it becomes for others to control your behavior.
The reason so many very successful founder have a ‘touch of the tism’ is because what makes you more successful as a child makes you less successful as an adult.
To win as a child you need to follow rules and get along with everyone to fit in.
To win as an adult you need to write your own rules, get along with few people, and differentiate.
So if you’re split between two paths: conventional wisdom and your own path - pick your own.
You’ll either be very right or very wrong.
But no one wins big following the herd.
You did the best you could with what you knew at the time.
Don't let new wisdom lead you to condemn yourself over old struggles.
Forgive yourself and move forward.
Game theory pretty much proves that the long game is not a strategy most people can execute at all. That's because it tends to require a negative short-term position in exchange for a real advantage later. Most people cannot commit to this because their threat-detection system reads current loss as an existential failure. And that's vicious short-sightedness. It leads them to optimize for visible progress and sacrifice their real position. The people who constantly win rarely have better information. Instead, they accept that losing now will pay off later. Never quit a game before it starts.

Ever since I learned about the way the subconscious mind works, I take people mistreating me so much more seriously. People mistreating you are programming "worthlessness" into your subconscious, and that literally alters the course of your life.
The most successful people I know don't "trust life's timing." They don't accept the standard pace as the pace they have to go at. They don't let life happen to them. They happen to life. They figure out what they want, and then they stop at nothing until they get it. It's an intense, relentless, all-consuming pursuit until the mission is accomplished. They accept nothing short of complete success, because why would they have it any other way?
A lot of progress comes from being okay with your life taking a step back, before it takes a step up.
Pull back, do some work, live below your means, learn, etc. then you can dramatically shoot forward.
Most want success to be instant, but usually it's more like a slingshot.
Major cheat code in life: Stop announcing what you're going to do. Every time you tell people your plans and don't follow through, you're training them to stop believing you. The person who says nothing and delivers is worth ten people who promise everything and deliver nothing. Show up quietly.
do everything that you can to increase the surface area of luck
a job, a startup, a relationship
whatever it is - do everything, shoot the wildest of shots, be shameless and do things with intent
To sleep, you have to take a pose of sleeping.
Life works the same way.
Most people are trying to feel first and act later.
“I will start when I feel ready.”
“I will speak when I feel confident.”
“I will change when I feel motivated.”
But feelings follow posture.
Act first.
Align your behavior with the person you want to become.
You don’t become something by wishing for it.
You become it by practicing its shape
until it becomes natural.
Sleep comes to the one who lies down.
Success comes to the one who shows up.
Peace comes to the one who lets go.
Be the posture.
The rest will follow.

Game theory explains why people don’t respect effort, they respect leverage. You can work harder than everyone in the room, but if your output doesn’t change anyone’s payoff structure, your effort is irrelevant. The game rewards impact, not sacrifice. Build positions where your presence changes outcomes, not just your workload.
