This is a wild generalisation. It is based on personal anecdote, not representative evidence.
Africa has 54 countries and more than a billion people with very different political views, so saying “many Africans love Trump” without data is broad, subjective, and analytically weak.
At best, what Larry is really saying is, “I personally encounter a lot of Africans who support Trump.” That reflects his experience, not the continent.
Anecdote is not data, and personal encounters cannot be elevated into a continental conclusion.
🚨 Pep Guardiola hits back at Jim Ratcliffe: "We treat immigrants or people that come from other countries like they are the ones causing problems for our country. It's a big problem because the fact I am Catalan and you are British? What influence did we have on where we were born?
"Everyone wants to have a better life, everyone wants to have a better future for themselves and their families. Sometimes the opportunities are where you are born and sometimes it is in the place where you go.
"The colour of your skin or the place where you were born don't make a difference.
"Most people run away from their countries for the problems that are in their country, not because they want to leave.
"The more we embrace other cultures, truly embrace it, then we will have a better society - I do not have any doubts about that."
The worst thing about Radcliffe, Trump, Musk, Tice etc is that they’re wealthy beyond all comprehension, life couldn’t have dealt them a better hand, and all they ever do is fucking complain about shit. How about just enjoy your fucking life? And maybe pay some taxes to help out?
Bit of a personal post
so forgive me. Our daughter is having major surgery. Doctor after doctor coming in before surgery kicks off. We don’t see white, black or brown. We just see highly skilled, highly trained, highly professional, highly motivated medics.
As an Arsenal fan, I have always enjoyed our historic rivalry with Manchester Utd.
Above all, I admire its identity as a diverse club with players & fans from all over the world.
Jim Ratcliffe’s comments are a disgrace. Migrants aren’t the problem. Tax-dodging billionaires are.
Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe believes the United Kingdom has been “colonised by immigrants”.
Ratcliffe, who moved to Monaco in 2020, said the UK needs a prime minister who is “prepared to be unpopular … to get the big issues sorted”, comparing that role to his own at United, where he has been “very unpopular” because of the changes made since his arrival in 2024.
“You can’t have an economy with nine million people on benefits and huge levels of immigrants coming in,” Ratcliffe, 73, told Sky. “I mean, the UK has been colonised. It’s costing too much money.
“The UK has been colonised by immigrants, really, hasn’t it? I mean, the population of the UK was 58 million in 2020, now it’s 70 million. That’s 12 million people.”
The UK’s Office for National Statistics estimated that the UK population was 69.5 million in November 2025, compared to 67.1 million in 2020. The ONS also estimated that the UK’s long-term net migration was 204,000 from 2024 to 2025.
According to a House of Commons research briefing from January of this year there were 1.68 million people, as of December 2025, claiming unemployment-related benefits in the UK.
“The English have a fierce reputation for conquering the world.. invading loads of different countries and then getting upset when those people follow them home.”
- Tommy Tiernan
The audacity of Jim Ratcliffe, a British billionaire who migrated to Monaco to avoid paying taxes, but was trying to get UK taxpayer money to enable his stadium project, saying this.
Using ‘colonised’ when actual British colonialism resulted in over 100 million Indian deaths between 1881-1920 alone, transportation of 3.5 million African slaves, and an endless array of other atrocities with the impact still being felt today.
And when the success of Manchester United, on the field and commercially, is in large part dependent on foreigners.
Vile, vile, vile.
