UPDATE – Concern #15991690
I finally received my XEV 9e last night at around 10:30 PM, after another evening of multiple follow-ups and changing delivery assurances.
I wish I could say the matter is now resolved. Unfortunately, it isn’t.
After my vehicle spent over two weeks at the authorised workshop, the bonnet is visibly misaligned, and the vehicle was handed over without even being properly cleaned dust inside the cabin and frunk.
The bonnet/body work itself was one of the primary reasons the vehicle remained at the workshop for approximately 13–14 days.
@MahindraRise@anandmahindra I appreciate that the vehicle has finally been returned, but delivery cannot be treated as resolution when the workmanship itself is visibly unsatisfactory.
I request that Concern #15991690 not be closed until the vehicle is properly inspected, the alignment is rectified and a thorough QC is carried out.
I genuinely love the XEV 9e as a product. I only wish the after-sales experience matched the standards of the vehicle.
@spshailendra@mahindraesuvs 100% agree - my experience also has been very frustrating and disappointing. Have already raised a concern - Concern No. 15991690

Extremely disappointing experience with @MahindraRise authorised service partner PPS Motors.
My XEV 9e was handed over on 4 Sept for body repairs + service, with a committed delivery of 17 Sept.
What followed is simply unacceptable. @anandmahindra

Thank you for acknowledging the concern.
I would appreciate “immediate action” translating into a clear status update, a responsible person taking ownership, and a firm & realistic delivery timeline for my XEV 9e.
After 17 days at the workshop, I believe this is a reasonable expectation.
I look forward to a concrete response today rather than another general assurance.
@anandmahindra Dishing out awesome cars and orphaning them by giving real bad service is like giving birth and abandoning them on the road. Try surveillance visit in random service center and pick random car which is getting serviced and communicate with the owner of the car then post message.
UPDATE | Concern No. 15991690
@anandmahindra@MahindraRise
Unfortunately, despite formally registering my concern with Mahindra, I STILL do not have my XEV 9e back nor do I have a concrete commitment on when it will be delivered.
My vehicle has been with PPS Motors, an authorised Mahindra service provider, since 4 September.
Committed delivery: 17 September
Today: 21 September
The sequence of events makes this particularly disappointing:
• On 16 Sept, I was informed that the body work was complete and delivery would happen on 17 Sept.
• On 17 Sept, my repeated calls went unanswered for most of the day.
• At around 6 PM, I was finally informed that my vehicle had been SCRATCHED due to an internal mistake while in the workshop’s custody and the bumper had to be repainted.
• On 18 Sept, when I personally visited the workshop, body work was STILL going on despite having been told on 16 Sept that it was complete.
• And now, even after registering Concern No. 15991690, I am still unable to get a firm delivery commitment or a satisfactory response.
At this stage, this isn’t merely a delayed service.
It is about accountability, communication and customer confidence.
I bought the XEV 9e with tremendous confidence in Mahindra and genuinely like the product. But the ownership experience cannot be separated from the quality of after-sales support.
@anandmahindra@MahindraRise I request senior intervention in Concern No. 15991690.
I am now specifically asking for:
A senior person to take ownership of this case;
A clear WRITTEN status of my vehicle;
A firm and realistic delivery commitment;
Confirmation of exactly what damage occurred while the vehicle was in PPS Motors’ custody and what corrective work was undertaken; and
Comprehensive QC before the vehicle is handed back to me.
After 17 days without my vehicle, I believe these are reasonable expectations from an authorised Mahindra service network.

@anandmahindra@MahindraRise I bought the XEV 9e with considerable faith in the Mahindra brand. The product deserves an equally dependable after-sales experience.
Requesting senior intervention, proper QC and accountability from PPS Motors before my vehicle is returned.

Today, 18 Sept, I personally visited PPS Motors. Even at 11:15 AM, BODY SHOP WORK IS STILL ON — despite being told on 16 Sept that it was complete!
My concern now is not just delayed delivery. I do NOT want the car rushed through servicing & QC simply to meet another deadline.
