I was proud to attend the Sikh Military Foundation’s launch of their WWI Sikh Remembrance campaign. The Sikh Armed Forces have a proud and courageous history. It’s worth noting c90k Sikhs gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy in both World Wars. We must ensure everyone… and every community is remembered this weekend. Thank you for your service. #Sikh #sikhregiment #army #britisharmy #royalmarines #royalnavy #royalairforce

This Remembrance Day, I honour recently departed Max, originally Queens Own Cameron Highlanders🏴 Learned to live well with trauma, finding a way of “putting them (memories of two particular servicemen KIA next to him) to rest”. You never forgot, like we’ll never forget you.
Grateful to the @PoppyLegion for ensuring Sikhs are represented in their marketing campaigns and education materials, do check out their resources! 🫡#Remembrance#poppy#RBL#Sikh
