@garrrish Nursing can be harsh. Super fast paced and your coworkers can either be ride or dies or gossipy & backstabbing. I agree with another comment, give yourself some grace. Or a different dept could make a world of difference.
@garrrish Lift 4-5 times per week for 1-1.5 hours. Eat at least your weight in grams of protein. Sleep 7-9 hours/night. I like Macro Factor for calorie and macro tracking. I like to lift after work so I don’t feel rushed.
@MarkLRuffalo Like someone mentioned TCAs have a Black Box Warning of prolonged QTc & thus high risk for overdose. A one month supply could be dangerous which is often the time frame for prescribing. Not ideal for patients with depression & possibly suicidal. TCAs also can be more sedating.
@garrrish Nice! Make achievable goals. If you’re gonna lift start low + go slow. There are a ton of videos on YouTube about proper form and bracing so you have more power and don’t get injured. A foam roller + lacrosse ball for recovery
@__spicywhite I used to live in a neighborhood where multiple parties would be going throughout the night, replete with tablecloths, strung lights and a full mariachi band. At some point I learned the songs too! Def preferred over bass warble
@garrrish I'm glad you're excited. Nursing is crazy - the stuff we get to see. But so rewarding. I'm sure you'll smash clinicals. Mine are starting to heat up too :/
@oooobleck Same! I just went yesterday in jeans & a tshirt. Sad! I've wanted to go after work but don't want to mess up my blouse or dress shirt 🤔 Next time!
