The loss of 2.5k is not fair to a man who just was relying of technology which is promised and facade of opting lower seat works. Very disappointed in the complete setup.

@IRCTCofficial The sheer mechanism of IRCTC of duping money - a thread of disappointment.
It all started with booking a ticket for my grandfather to Bihar, in July on 8th. So my Grandfather is 84 years old and has difficulty even walking. Due to his age, has certain ailments too.

@IRCTCofficial I was given a reply stating that always priority is given to age, then how did the last remaining seat was allotted to 84 years old man; is it not old enough or does his age not deserve a lower seat.

After getting the last seat which was lower, I cancelled all remaining three seats and some amount again around 200 or something was deducted for cancelling the ticket. So, in all, I lost around 2.5k+ just to book one lower seat for my grandfather who happens to be of 84 years…

All three times, I got the remaining three upper seats for a man of 84 years old, understanding the requirement of his lower seat and proximity near me, I booked the last seat also and it was the same seat that I cancelled.

I made a mistake in spelling of name of my Grandfather, I cancelled his seat and booked again 1 seat for him with correct spelling. But the misery started here - there were 4 seats left when I was booking the ticket, including one lower I just cancelled. I made booking thrice…

Losing trust on MMT website, I thought I will use @IRCTCofficial website only, there I made a booking and thankfully I got two lower and one upper seat which solved my crisis. I thought and praised IRCTC website thinking it is fair and gave the seats as per age. However,

@makemytrip I had no option but to cancel, instead of 13,625/- I got refund of 11,580/- only. Losing 2k straight forward. I think @makemytrip should take onus and refund the rest to me as it was their fault I didn’t get lower seat and had to cancel.

So, 1st - I made booking through @makemytrip app, where I chose 2 lower births hoping I will get atleast one out of three tickets. I even chose full refund option and paid extra, however I got all three upper seats despite choosing lower and all distant to each other.

@IRCTCofficial However, I needed to rectify the name (spelling mistake on my end) so I just cancelled one seat which happened to be his, and immediately booked again just one seat with correct details and age, again an upper birth…

Overall, anime serves as a medium that can inspire reflection, empathy, and growth, providing adults with both entertainment and meaningful lessons.
For me, Anime has taught me to understand and see from other's point of view and that has helped me understand true human society.
