OUTRAGEOUS: The U.S. Justice Department is investigating after Independent journalist Brandi Kruse was forcibly removed from a Portland Thorns NWSL game at Providence Park for the “crime” of wearing an XX-XY Athletics shirt that simply AFFIRMS the clear DIFFERENCE between men and women, according to Fox News Digital.
“The Justice Department is aware of these reports and will review the matter thoroughly. Where the facts and the law warrant action, the Department will not hesitate to act,” a department spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
“Based on what is known so far, the conduct described appears to raise viewpoint discrimination and First Amendment questions rather than s*x discrimination. The Department is reviewing it,” a DOJ official said.

The Western Standard's Derek Fildebrandt interviewed Premier Danielle Smith on Friday October 23.
In this clip the Premier states that she believes an Alberta Pension Plan would have failed on the recent referendum ballot.
"Someone needs to be out there making a case for why it is that we would be better off with an Alberta Pension Plan."
She erroneously credits Alberta Prosperity Project for this effort, when it was actually @ABfirstpension who hit the road and held informative town halls in an effort to inform the public about the incredible benefits an Alberta Pension Plan would bring to our province.
Why did these town halls stop happening? Lack of funding! It was 100% a volunteer effort.
Maybe the government should take some responsibility to do more of that educating?
Why wouldn't every worker and employer in Alberta NOT want to keep more of their hard earned money?

This happened last week at Harmony High School in Osceola County, Florida.
He was sitting at lunch with his girlfriend when they saw a girl getting pelted with carrots.
Nobody was stepping in, so he did.
Two of the boys got in his face. He didn’t swing. He didn’t escalate, he stood his ground.
Right after school, he was walking to his car through the tunnel by campus when one teen hit him... and EIGHT more piled on.
NINE against ONE.
Video shows them throwing punch after punch to his face and head.
He went to the hospital and needed ELEVEN STITCHES to close his face.
His sister Brianna Bailey says he has never been able to tolerate bullies, or anyone being cruel to the people he loves.
When she saw the photo of his bloody face, she was shocked... then she found out WHY it happened.
“He stood his ground.”
Somebody filmed it, that video went straight to deputies.
They identified EVERY SINGLE ONE.
All NINE were arrested at the school, all NINE charged with aggravated battery and inciting a riot, and the school district says they’ve been EXPELLED.
The sheriff himself came out and said it plain: this young man is the brave one, and the ones who ganged up on him are the cowards.
Now people everywhere are calling him a HERO.
He’s recovering at home.
And his sister has one message for every kid out there: if you see someone getting bullied, stand up for them.

Busted! A BC NDP @bcndp volunteer was filmed at night outside a Surrey-Guildford advance polling station bringing a busload of roughly 30 to 40 people from Night and Day Recovery Society, a recovery home for addicts run by founder and director Amrit Singh Rai, many of them without identification. The volunteer was heard encouraging them to vote NDP right near the entrance, which is illegal under the Election Act’s 100-metre rule against soliciting or influencing votes at a voting place. They relied on the vouching system that lets someone without ID simply declare they are a Canadian citizen and BC resident while another person vouches for them. Rai has said the centre only gives rides when residents ask and does not tell anyone how to vote.
The same riding saw NDP MLA Garry Begg @GarryBeggBC win by just 22 votes in 2024 over Conservative Honveer Singh Randhawa after allegations that non-residents voted, people voted under similar names, and residents at Argyll Lodge, managed by Baljit Kandola, were given mail-in ballots and directed how to mark them even though some could not read English or knew an election was happening. Those claims were investigated and the court petition was dropped with no finding of deliberate fraud, yet the NDP held the seat. The man shown in the dark jacket in the video has not been named.

On August 12th on a walking trail, police say he came up BEHIND a woman jogging, pulled her to the ground, and tried to R*PE her right there in the open, in broad daylight.
He almost did it. You know who stopped him? Not a judge. Not a bond. FIREFIGHTERS. They were there, they saw it, they pulled him off her and called police.
If those firefighters had been anywhere else that day... that woman gets r*ped on a public trail in the middle of the afternoon.

NEW: A Washington high school sophomore walked off the starting line alone at a district cross-country championship Wednesday rather than compete against a boy, sacrificing her opportunity to advance in the postseason.
According to Matt Calkins at Outkick, Elise Bierer, a Battle Ground High School runner, turned away from the course after the starting gun sounded at the October 21 Greater St. Helens League District Meet in Camas.
She walked toward her mother, Sheona, who embraced her tearful daughter.
Bierer had also declined to compete during Battle Ground’s October 13 dual meet against Camas. Wednesday’s district championship carried greater consequences: walking away ended her season.
Her mother alleged that Elise and other Battle Ground girls who objected to competing against the male athlete were pressured to enter the JV race instead. According to her account, that would preserve the varsity team’s chances of finishing among the three teams advancing to the next qualifying meet.
Elise believed she had earned her varsity position. Her mother said other girls initially planned to walk off alongside her, but those plans changed before the race.
Battle Ground had only five varsity entrants, while the other three schools had seven each, OutKick reported. Elise’s withdrawal left Battle Ground without the five finishers required to record a team score. Individual results remained separate: Battle Ground’s Sophia Rogers won the girls’ race.
Sheona said her daughter did not tell coach Patricia Tester about her plan because she feared being moved to JV.
