@AnthropicAI@claudeai
Fable 5 is pretty much unusable due to overzealous safety valves.
See this prompt for example. It's single-lead ECG data. It's very clearly NOT molecular biology let alone any kind of AAV engineering.
And this is across every single project I've tried.
@OpenAI@sama it looks like your new agent GPT 5.4 is pre-training poisoned. Without any external calls, simply on a specific conversation context, it attempts data exfiltration via tool use:

It's an unbelievably poor service, and it will hurt your brand with anybody who tries to "launch with AWS" investing significant resources (marketing, engineering, etc...), just as we did last night. Thoroughly disappointed in you @aws#awscognito@aselipsky!
1. The limit is 50 users/day (!)
2. Exceeding or approaching the limit does not trigger a warning or a notification. You don't keep logs of customers who couldn't create accounts due to the limit (by default).
3. It's a hard limit, and it requires engineering work to fix.
@rod_mallo Your experience would be different if you worked in open source software development. ChatGPT is a huge productivity booster.
It was trained on all of github (presumably including Cellenics), which is a reason why it's so good at coding compared to humans.
🦺 This is Poppy. She's 19, works in a cafe in Bury St Edmunds and was arrested earlier this morning for peacefully resisting our criminal government's genocidal plans for new oil and gas.
🛢️ Downing St. is prioritising oil industry profits and North Sea expansion over Poppy's chance of having a safe, liveable future free of climate collapse.
💀 As it stands, our government's climate policies are guaranteed to kill millions of people and displace billions from their homes. Don't let them get away with it — sign up to slow march at https://t.co/bLY1usEHyr
@rod_mallo I think a solution that should be explored is gradual abandonment of commercial banks; replacing cash deposits with a digital-only, central bank solution; replacing all debt with solutions based on common bond (co-operatives, building societies).
@rod_mallo I cannot comprehend how fractional reserve banking became normalised. Luckily, we don't live in medieval Europe, but in 1360 the Spanish government beheaded Francesch Castello in front of his own bank, after he failed to repay depositors as a result of fractional reserve banking
@vladiglobe Will English-speaking readers get to access your book "Unfuck the economy" at any point in near future? I can't find an english translation on Amazon or anywhere -- I'm assuming it doesn't exist?
Very grateful for @forewordvc to be included in the Emerging 50 list alongside such an amazing group of fellow emerging managers 🙌
Thanks to all founders and LPs for the nod, + @vedikaja_in & @rrhoover for all the support you give to EMs 🙏

@lomax_ward@rod_mallo@WillManidis I want less! Am working on a theory of intrinsic entrepreneurship through community building, an anti-YC of sorts. Will share in a few weeks. It's inspired by the work of David Graeber.
Q for founders and investors. Do founders need to be paid a lot of equity to be sufficiently motivated and rewarded to build big, impactful and successful companies?
