More of my Republican colleagues are finally talking about the unaffordable health insurance crisis, but yesterday on our GOP conference call Speaker Johnson said he has ideas and pages of policy, but did not say a single policy plan.
I think that is unacceptable.
Democrats created this nightmare 15 years ago, then made it worse in 2021 by extending the ACA tax credits that are now expiring, and I find it unacceptable that Republicans are sitting on the sidelines doing nothing to fix this healthcare disaster that is leading many Americans into financial ruin.
America gave us the House and Senate majority and entrusted us to legislatively deliver the agenda they voted for, and along with that comes the responsibility to help Americans.
America First, remember?
Not leave Americans wondering if or when Congress will finally fix the healthcare industry, while they look ahead not knowing if they will even be able to afford health insurance.
Democrats are complaining day in and day out about the coming massive insurance hikes because of the expiring tax credits that they put in place, as the healthcare exchange rates go back to the original Obamacare system Democrats put in place.
By doing so, they are admitting they screwed the whole health insurance system up and they are admitting original Obamacare is now way too expensive.
Republicans it’s time to build the off ramp off of Obamacare in a responsible way, deregulate healthcare and pharmaceuticals and demand price transparency across the board, and incentivize the market in such a way to open up competition which will drive down cost.
Pick up your bat and ball and get in the game.
As Representatives, it’s our responsibility to lead and work for our districts.
Our districts voted for us.
Our districts sent us to Congress.
No one else. No one or any lobby deserves our loyalty and support.
Only our districts.
As I have been saying for weeks now, Republicans in the Senate can reopen the government, without Democrats, by using the nuclear option.
All of this political drama would end if Republicans would use the power we have.
Democrats will do it when they regain power.
Like it or not.

The outside looks clean.
The inside? Not what anyone expected.
If this is showing up inside sealed feminine products… how long have women been using this without knowing what’s in them?

For years now the genocide and killings in Congo and Sudan have been ongoing. Africans really need to create a solution to solve these problems and killings, we need to know that the world doesn’t care about Africa except its resources.
I'm sick of the all the negative energy on here this week.
I'm pumped for this team to get back on the field tomorrow and have the chance to get this thing back on track.
Let's give these boys the support they deserve 〽️
The West Belgian force precisely with the CIA captured Patrice Lumumba with the help of some African puppets who left him in their hands, he was DR Congo 🇨🇩 first prime minister who wanted to secure his country’s resources for the people.
The West killed him and cut him into 34 pieces, then dissolved his body in acid and took his tooth which was the only part of his body that was later buried after 61 years. Since his murder till now DR Congo haven’t been the same till date…
Yet they told you to forget your history and move on, but they can’t forget their history that’s why they keep preparing their armies for war… Hypocrite.

🚨 ALASKA JUST GOT HIT - AND NOBODY’S TALKING ABOUT IT 🚨
“How many of you even knew a typhoon hit Alaska?”
A storm with Category 4 winds just tore through western Alaska. Homes ripped away, entire Native villages wiped out.
One resident said, “People woke up to their homes floating down the river and nobody’s talking about it.”
At least 20 people are missing.
Families floating down rivers, entire villages gone.
“People are stuck in their homes, floating down rivers… going into the Bering Sea.”
And somehow… no one’s hearing about it.
Mali 🇲🇱 will no longer export raw cotton
The nation now has 5 textile factories to produce clothing locally, adding value, creating jobs, and driving industrial growth.

Whilst some West African nations acts as slaves of the Imperialist, President Traoré's government announced on state TV yesterday, that they will under no circumstances be a dumping ground for America' s unwanted immigrants.
Soon afterwards, US closes visa processing in Burkina Faso.
Africa needs leaders like Traore, not those weak and useless and shameless ones, that have no self dignity.
The New NFL Ain’t What It Used to Be
I’m sick of the Cleveland Browns — they’re the perfect reflection of this new NFL. This league today is not the one I grew up loving.
The old NFL was about diversity, opportunity, and unity — even during some of America’s toughest racial times. You had real leaders like Tex Schramm, Tom Landry, and Lamar Hunt who used football to move this country forward. The NFL once showed us how to live and work together as one people.
But this new NFL? It’s filled with collusion, politics, and scandal — all fueled by racism. From Colin Kaepernick to Deion Sanders, from Black coaches suing the league to the questions surrounding Super Bowl entertainment — it’s the same game, just with a different kind of injustice.
And let’s be real — the league needs to thank Jay-Z for what little credibility it still has left. But this ain’t the time to be playing corporate games. Because while they’re busy politicking, another sport — soccer — is rising fast in the U.S., and it’s pulling in the youth the NFL is losing.
The old owners and general managers — the ones who built this league on real diversity and respect — are rolling over in their graves. It was no secret The NFL placed every team in a liberal city. with the hopes of bringing America together in which it did.
The NFL used to unite America. Now it’s dividing it — and it doesn’t have to be this way. @MikeSilver@OmarKelly@stephenasmith@AndySlater@NFL
On this day in 1806, Benjamin Banneker died.
In 1753, he created the first functioning clock in the U.S entirely out of wood, it was so advanced it kept accurate time for over 50 years.
