I spent the day playing with @LightningAI studio, to speed up my NeurIPS experiments, and it is totally awesome! It’s just like developing in VSCode on your laptop, except it runs on a free cloud CPU (with persistent state and fast startup), and you can just press a button to quickly add 1 or more GPUs when the code is debugged. Plays nicely with GitHub to pull and push code. You can pip install #jax. And it’s super easy to do embarrassingly parallel runs to get proper error bars etc. A big improvement on their earlier https://t.co/AcTcyYUuVB which I tried in 2021. Way better than colab, and way simpler than GCP. Thanks @williamfalcon for the free credits :)
